And correct me if I'm wrong, but i didn't see anywhere in the forum rules that this is against the rules to post something like this.
Would you be offended if someone made a post saying that they are looking for other "straight people" to play with? Or if they are looking for "other white people" to play with?
It makes sense to look for a gaming group based on skill level, time zone, age group, or shared language, but I fail to see why you should only choose to play with other gay people.

Perhaps he wants to talk about *gasp* gay topics with other gay people? How often do you hear the subject of anything gay brought up in general conversation with a room full of straight people that didn't involve disparaging remarks, snide comments, snickering or all around homophobia?

Why in the world would I get offended? Especially since someone looking for a straight group obviously would have nothing to do with me. I just want to have fun with other people I can more likely have interesting conversations with whilst playing.
But common, SOMEONE meeting my requirements would have seen this thread by now and contacted me

If you need interesting conversations straight people can provide that too you know.
Id probably not talk about hot male celebrities, but I can talk about most other stuff (and I also tend to never shut up :P)
I'm on EU though, so not really gonna work out.
However, I think you underestimate what certain straight people can talk about
The only celebrity I even know is Angelina Jolie because she played as Lara Croft and that's the only movie I watched (about every day) as a kid. o.O
Its more of a "I'd feel more of a conservationist " if I was talking to another gay person because I've never had a straight guy friend in my life.
Well, sometime you should make the step trough the wall of haters and try to find whats behind it, because many people are totally ready to accept you as a human being no matter religion and sexual orientation.
Also, if you are willing to play hardcore I can definitely make you feel comfortable having a conversation with a straight person after a week or two (not sure if with any straight person, but at least with me :P)
I appreciate it, but this post is really just to see IF I could get any responses. I'm already looking for any monk or barb to tank for me and my friend straight or not idc. The only other friend we've been playing with stop playing
Oh and it's not a discrimination issue with straight people I have, I've just so happened to never have any straight guy friends at school because none of them I would have been able to get along with.

I also always farm with my friend who is a top DPS witch doctor, and we look for new people to play with.
