Ok, I'm glad they did at least something after 1 year. This will change meta and that's good. But I was hoping they will at least increase powers of legendaries, which are not being played at all, like Vallas Request, or Kmar Tenclip, etc. (Yes, I would like to play strafe DH :))
They aren’t really changing the META. In fact the META has been the same since season 6. The only time it was different was season 4 with the static monk and season 5 with the twister wiz
How has it been the same. 1 zmonk and 1 zbarb. Until the necessity is changed for those roles, we will always have 1 RGK and 1 RC as dps options. It doesn’t matter what class. You have 1 guy who has amazing single target damage and 1 that has amazing AoE.
The multiplier scaling is basically saying, “ GR cap is 150, were going to try and see if everyone can get there without a bot in seasons.”
They didn't announce a specific time for PTR, but it'll be some time today. I didn't have an option to install it from the B.Net App, but logging in to the website allowed me to download an installer which merged with the B.Net App. It's not yet available to play, though.
Edit: The client this installed appears to be older than the current live build, so I'd say that's not a useful means of acquiring the PTR client. Just gotta wait for it to show up in the B.Net App. If you've never done D3 PTR, though, you'll need to go to the account management page and click to set up a PTR account. Instructions for that can be found on the PTR post which is presently on the front page of diablofans...

when i see the large inflated numbers and no other issues addressed.. one guy could have developed the upcoming season.

Good things:
-LoN buff
-Primal item when clearing GR70 first time
-After all, this patch narrows the gap of different builds
-None doubling theme
Disappointed:
- No item buffs
- No new content
Better than nothing but it's clear they are very afraid of breaking the game by adding anything interesting.
Only season
how and when can i play ptr what time?
