haha crazy how OP furious charge is now, i see that people on bnet forums cry about the dreadnought rune nerf, who needs that? i dont get it with fire u zip through enemies like crazy u can solo in rifts and still be number 1 only other raekor barbs can keep up the pace with u lol.. very fun buff indeed.
Because it really isn't better if you played well with the old way. Before if you played well it was better and this current version is a nerf. If you sucked at the old way the new way is a buff. Thats basically what it is.
The build is more user friendly and more accessible. Its much better for T6 but it doesnt have the potential as the old one did. No one will dethrone the highest barb with the current iteration of the build.

you mean the old way that RELIED on conduits? ok nice.

This is exactly why they should not have released the new patch without resetting the season.
This 1st season should have ended ages ago. I really do not understand why they did not started season 2 along with the patch.

Except for those people who already have top ranks will rank higher.

No. The way those people with top ranks cleared the GRs was with the help of a Conduit for the rift guardian. The barb has no decent single target damage; on PTR the highest GR I think was something between 45 and 48 for barbs. At some point, with awesome gear and everything we might see a low GR50+, though that's tough and GR50 might already be the cap. But GR60 won't be possible for a long time, certainly not before the end of the season in 3 weeks. All the top barb rankings are basically frozen, they might as well end the season for them and make a new one.
i agree with that if u pile 2-3 elite packs ur FC damage reaches ridiculous numbers. but barb is just dead about Grift. noway barb can compete DH . nerfing conduit and buffing single target dps would be better. and if u like the old set and can play well thats seriously a nerf.i used to do faster t6 rifts before.
Raekor got fixed. Sure the dragging mechanic removal is considered as a nerf but now you can actually do some single target dps and you can play in t6 groups without fucking everything up for your teammates. High GR in 2.1 was totally broken. Not only the dragging mechanic was OP but also the reliance on conduit pylons was just totally lame. Imo whoever cannot see that dragging and conduits were broken is just blind and delusional, defending a broken mechanic. Good riddance, i welcome the new Raekor.
The lack of single target damage is not an issue of the Raekor set, it's an issue of the barbarian class as a whole. The Raekor set was never meant to be the boss kill set. It's like using a fork to eat a soup... you wouldn't change the layout of the fork, you'd ask the waiter to bring you a spoon.
The Raekor set got fixed and its performance is improved overall (pre-Conduit nerf people were able to clear GR62, GR63 on PTR with it). The reason why the barb's GR performance is worse than before is because of the "fix" of the Conduit Pylon. You can complain about the Conduit Pylon, you can complain about the lack of single target damage, you can complain about the design of the barb class - all legit. But saying that the Raekor set got nerfed is plain wrong as all evidence on PTR and live shows us.
The only real "nerf" to Raekor is the removal of its pulling ability which renders Raekor barbs less useful for group GR runs. But that was only being used by 0.1% of groups anyways (by far the majority of groups used Crusaders for group runs as it required less "rift fishing"; simply look up Diabloprogress statistics).

so a 150m+ first target hit from raekor with bleed damage isn't considered a buff? wow aren't you dense as fuck.

Lol are you crazy? even if dreadnought was unchanged its still only 600% light, i prefer fire 1050% and u dont need dreadnought anyways as i said u kill everything like butter its a big buff indeed most prefer fire anways.
Yeah i can do GR 38 clear regular mobs like crazy and have like half timer left for the boss, how is that not a buff ? and now u dont need the silly conduit like before damage on single target enemies is very good now people need to forget the dreadnought and with the improved density i dont really see the problem, im far from the best player but u feel like a king playing raekors with fire now so.
Old raekors sucked as it was dependent on getting conduit for high level grifts, and even if u cant do maybe better in really high lvl doesnt matter its supposed to be hard but overall its more fun and easier when playing rifts or just solo, couldnt stand the lack of single target damage before now its good they fixed that and conduit can go to hell where it belongs. And nobody gonna say anyone was able to do GR60 before with dreadnought haha keep dreaming that was all thanks of conduit to the boss nothing else...

Actually the reason why the barbs GR performace is worse is because of slower Rift clears. Without the drag mechanic rifts are taking longer to clear even with the improved density. Sure the class isnt supposed to be the boss kill but for it to have totally worthless single target dps is BS. The barb really needs its spenders buffed badly. Heck even doubling their dmg wouldnt work.

The real ignorant here is crystal clear to me now.

Before the 2.1.2 I did GR38(no conduit) after the patch I did GR40 with a crafted ancient Sunder. There is space to upgrade.
