    EXP gear, Cains Set, Borns Set, Leorics Crown, Leorics Signet, and Hellfire Ring are all the best items in the game


    The best stat in the game is +Exp on monster kill. By using these items and stats in GR (the only thing to play in D3) you will become extremely powerful much faster than a normal player with normal gear


    You will get all your set legendaries and other good items just by leveling paragon

    I'm not sure how you come to your conclusions without much proof. There are drastic damage reductions in mobs in greater rifts; this will inevitably have an effect on alternative play styles, especially with permanent CC being neutered. While I don't think he has the optimal set up for it, I think it's silly to say at this point what is optimal and what isn't. I also don't know how you figured he meant "stand still"? Who is to say that the next Barbarian set does not have some frenzy/bash/cleave/non-WW related strengths. They're already adding something in that affects cleave.


    The real reason why wastes is good is because you can damage and move at the same time without any delay; it is good damage and excellent speed. It is not about dodging hit boxes because you will not be tanking the higher tier greater rifts you're talking about unless you're perfectly geared...and even then it isn't something you can take a bunch of hits in.


    There is a lot more depth and complexity to what was added this patch than possibly the entire expansion so far. Really, you need to open up your eyes and think, rather than be "that guy".


    P.S. Surviving greater rifts is not about constantly moving; it is about correctly positioning yourself when the mobs come in. Speed clearing rifts is about constantly moving. This is a massive and fundamental difference.

    And in GRs you have to survive and clear at the fastest speed possible, thus you constantly move and need survivability......that's what the leaderboard system is.....

    Theres always Maras kaleidoscope and a healthy layer of RNG to save the day tho in Diablo - just get the Maras and fish fish fish RNG for the Poison blob man, fun times


    Otherwise, Blizzard will never let you sit in one spot as a melee character, too easy, too bottable (even more than the game is already ruined by bots)

    ^ Wrong. There is no such thing as a build defining legendary in D3. Legendaries are worthless Flavor of the Month items that get changed every patch, and they can have their strongest attribute put into a cube


    And yes 500 int difference, or a 1000 int difference or a 3000 int difference (Paragon 2000 is now being reached) will make up a huge difference between two players with the same Carnevil

    You will get legendaries based on your PARAGON LEVEL. If you want more legendaries, and better legendaries, FARM MORE PARAGON in GR42-50. GR farming is the only worthwhile thing to do in D3 - you get PERMANENT STATS WHICH ARE BETTER THAN ANY LEGENDARY! Also you get the legendaries on top of it from Kadala (250 BS per GR) and RG

    Problem finding items? Sorry, don't know anybody other than a hardcore casual who doesn't have full Ancient sets, full ancient Convention, Immunity Amulets, perfect rolled Hellfire Amulets


    Problems getting gear? LOL, this isn't D3 vanilla bro, Items don't mean shit in this game now everyone has all of them.......

    What you cube for each character will be dependent on their build. If you only play 1 toon per class then your choices should be very easy you only have 1-2 builds


    But for a Raekor barbarian for instance, (LOL i know they dont exist anymore, remember them?) The idea would be to cube the Vile Ward (so Raekor shoulder set piece could be used in its place, allowing the Barb to in essence gain another item)

    No, paragon value is the only constant in the game and the ONLY thing of value in the game that is increasing


    Every patch nerfs items and sets and resets the gear needed to complete GRs. Every patch adds FoTM Flavor of the Month items (Convention of Elements, Focus/Restraint) which become the new required cookie cutter set to compete


    The ONLY thing that truly increases the characters who wield these items, is the Paragon xp level progression. Everyone has full ancient sets and trifecta Ammies and good gear. Paragon, turboHUD and voice telecom is what makes leaderboards

    Biggest thing Blizz doesnt want you to know is xp and paragon are much > stronger than Items in the long run for power, they infinitely add power to your char acct wide while items and sets keep getting nerfed and mechanics changed. Also although not listed, every paragon lvl gained increases MF, GF, xp/kill


    That's why they keep on this Play Your Way bullshit, showcasing these admittedly cool but garbage builds

    Pretty sad Blizz spent so much time developing so many different items and effects and people still only want typically 1 Best Item per Slot, maybe there's a 2nd item that is a good consolation if ancient or rolled well but.......


    All those items Blizz made......just so people could forget them for OP Class Set of the Month
