The wothf description says that it generates 6 spirit per attack. As far as I know, it's still 3 attacks. The dashing attack, rapid punch attack, & then the aoe attack. So, that should generate 18 spirit. Although, if you put the indigo rune in wothf it says that the rapid punch (2nd strike) goes from 8 to 22 hits. Do you generate only 6 spirit for the 2nd strike or 22 x 6 for 132 spirit? That would make a big difference. Does anyone know?
Monk combos generate 6 spirit for each stage of the attack. So every time you hit the button and it corresponds to an attack, you get 6 spirit. So as awesome as it would be, you don't get 132 spirit with the Indigo rune of Way of the Hundred Fists.
Right. The rune still definitely boosts the damage of the attack by adding those 14 extra attacks, but you won't gain extra spirit because you only gain that spirit for each stage.
I'm sure it won't be the exact same animation, and I wouldn't be surprised if he spent a bit more time during the second stage of the attack, but they probably won't make it so that you're all that more vulnerable than you are during the normal attack. The idea of the rune system is only to enhance attacks, and if it just made you a sitting duck people would easily pass up the Indigo rune in favor of a different effect.
A little off topic but i cant seem to find exactly what wothf is. As far as i know it is
1. Dashing attack- how far, dunno, needs a target?
2. Flurry of attacks
3. ???
Can someone please clear this up. Also, is the dash on wothf comparable do dashing strike in terms of distance. I know some of these questions are unanswerable at this stage, but any help will be greatly appreciated

You only get dash on first hit if you rune wothf with a crimson rune. The third strike seems to be a small aoe attack, maybe with a knockback? Hard to tell at this point. Looking at some 2 years old videos doesnt help much as they surely have changed it in some ways.
