As some of you might know the GT400 series (GTX 470 and 480) from Nvidia has been released recently. These are set to go up against the 5850 and 5870 respectively. The GTX series offers up to Tri-SLI and with at least Dual-SLI from either card you are able to power 3 monitors, and if you have 3 3d monitors. This called Nvidia surround and Nvidia 3d Surround. Both are to rival ATI's Eyefinity which at most each card in an Xfire setup can support 3 monitors. TYhe only advantage Nvidia has int his category i can see is 3d. That will be a huge turn on to alot of customers. Also in reading up on some benchmarks i find that the GTX 480 although priced at MSRP $499.99 does close to and sometimes better than a Radeon 5970 2GB. The Gtx 470 around $350 MSRP does close to the 5850 sometimes even beating out the 5870. Overall i see them preforming very well so i'm thinking about putting one of these GTX480's in my system when i make it this christmas. Any thoughts/ Comments?

Also, Fermi sounds like a jet engine. Since I already have central heating, I'll stick with ATI or older nVidia cards.
