Does anyone else feel that throughout all the patches we have seen patch 14 skill system feels the most refined and does not feel so old like Diablo 2 and World of Warcraft? I for one and very happy with the new system and it makes so much more sense and easier ot use then the Tree formate and patch 12 system.
Liking the new system. Less complicated and easy to function especially that you can move your spells around rather than keeping it binded to a specific slot.
New system is terrible. Abilities are not all on the same window, Abilites go on cooldown when you swap them even with dragging. UI is HUGE when it could only to 1/3 of the screen like before. Rune icons dont look as cool as before.
are you serious rune icons dont look cool are you serious why do you even bother posting
Its one of the things, not one of my main reasons but its there. It's good enough to mention tho. Do you only read the last 8 words of a post? why bother posting about it?
I hate the new interface simply because comparing two skills can be tedious if they aren't on the same page. Obviously once i learn the skills and know whats going on, it will be easier, but as it is now, looking at them and going back to the old one to see what it does, is just annoying. Not game breaking but annoying.

I like the section that you had in the pic of patch 14, i just don't like the menu where you actually pick your skills/runes.
I like the "idea" of the new skill system (the unlocking of skills and runes as you level) IF they add more depth to the skills (some way to customize them, be they runes or gems or sockets or points, or whatever), but I much prefer the old layout. The new one is shit.

um...each skill has 5 different ways to customize them(runes). I think any more depth would be overkill. As for the new UI my only problem is the same as everyone elses with not having all the skills on one page when it comes to comparing them. But I guess that just adds a couple minutes to trying out new builds, or reason to memorize skill effects quicker
I like the system and see why it was implemented but the skill UI screen is still clunky. One thing to note is skill cooldown doesnt happen in town which is nice.
Also the size of the screen screams to me that they are trying to stop skill swaps on the fly while killing a boss.
Now if only they bring back the no map ping option. I can have my hand held but at least alow me to turn it off.
Definitely prefer it as it was in patch 12. Mainly because I was able to see all the skills at once, and which ones were already selected. If they could modify the current system so as to show all skill at once, I'd be happy.

Aye, this is my only complaint. I like the skill runes and the ack of talen trees.

I'd go with the new one. I probably wouldn't have bought the game if it had skill trees though.
