How about this, I bought the original diablo, and my friend like it so much we got a copy of Diablo sony playstation and we always use to play 2 player original diabo on the playstation, it was great fun!

Then played hellfire and beat it to. I waited in line to get Diablo 2 when it first hit the stores. And also bought LOD the day it came out.

my friend had that and we found a flaw in the game. U could not save a 2 player game if i remember correctly. Hell he bought the game 4 20 bucks or somthing when it came out and then e b games bought it back off him for like 40 $ saying their was a flaw in it
my cuzin had d1 after d2 came out. i would go to his house we would stay up all nite(beating it 3-4 times). In the morning we'd have like a lvl 77 full godly dude. lol every one would dupe stuff and u would be a god in like 10 minutes. then i got d2 and i beat it easily.

actually d1 was pretty hard in hell difficulty especially when u get down to hell and u have those witches shooting blood stars at you and running away. the annoying thing was that you couldnt run ,, dam that pissed me off... but then again u could just get the staff of appoc . and even kill diablo without even seeing him
I liked the idea where you would find a tome for skill and learned that skill. No skill tree or nothing. But you weren't able to keep the skills forever. Pros and Cons between Diablo and Diablo II. What can you do?

Since I just got the Battle Chest I didn't really start with Diablo, but I do play it when I'm up late and bored. I can play it in my room with no internet and still have fun.
With D2 you gotta have the Battle.net experience.
damn d1 was the shizz back when it came out in what 96... that game was revolutionary for the times and i still remember how amazed everyone was by it (similar to when wc1 came out).. people were playing it so much at net caffes and already even back then someone figured out the duping method with the potions.
i would have been around 8 or 9 when d1 came out, and the butcher scared the crap out of me so i always avoided that quest, same with the skeleton king hehe. i actually went back to kill him once i was at around level 20, by summoning one of those golems... the golem owned the butcher in 3 hits
one thing i found to be really stupid was how easy diablo was to kill. You just get your hands on the griswalds edge sword that has knockback, and keep slamming diablo.. he seems a bit retarded because he keeps getting knocked back and he keeps running back at you not even attacking...
a paradox... u need the internet to enjoy the non-internet part of the game.
u can also get an editor. with it u can simply export the items u dont need and then vendor. u can import them anytime u want and they dont get lost or something Also needs internet but u can do that from a net cafe too, the program is pretty small. - Editors can be used for some really paradox build testing too, since there's no "respeccing" possible.
