i think there should be a way to put a song on a thread, maybe not every thread but at least some. like...wouldn't it be cool to pick out a song u want people to hear when they read your thread? it would give it a different dimension, make it funny or just appropriate. but when i sit and read comments for like maybe 5 minutes it would be nice to have a selected song to listen to idono if this is very important and i might get slack for posting but it just popped in my head so i thought id post.id make a poll if i knew how lmao

I've thought about that too. But then I realised how incredibly annoying it would get and how much extra unnecessary bandwidth (or something) it would use.
ya, thts the problem i thought of as well. it would just be cool. and as for being professional , who cares? i mean, i know HERE we're trying to get tht respect from blizzard as a very organized and driven fan base but lets say blizzard could do it.they're professional and everyone knows it so they could put songs on. idono..i guess im just too lazy to click on the media player XD(but of course thts not it at all, it would be cool with like appropriate songs, ya know? im a VISIONARY i guess :P)

mhm i might look more into it

I don't mean professional as in skilled enough to make it so people can post songs in posts.
We plan to be an official Blizzard fan-site, so for being all professional - we have to pretend we care :(.
lol i got ya. but it doesn't have to be here, it could be any site with threads. it was really a broad generalization, not d3.com specific

Fact of the matter is, it would look alot more professional to click on a thread for an FPS game and get hard rock, or click on a rate my avatar thread and get "how do you like me now?" or whatever. Perhaps you could outsource it to another website that specializes in music? Just get the HTML code right and there you go.

Well of course you should be able to play with how loud it would start at, then in the user control panel options there would be a max that each person could set there sound to. It really has alot of potential. Question is, does the power(s) that be want to put that much work into it, just to make it look more professional. I have my oppinions on that, but that is for another thread and another time.

What is this? Some sort of social networking site? Force your music on others in a different way.
Lol. I'm gonna go ahead right now and I say I would never do this. Not because I'm lazy (anyone that wants to say that will have to answer to the growing mountain of evidence that says otherwise). I think it would be absolutely the opposite of professionalism. I think it would lead to pure chaos.. people would post annoying music in threads, take up crazy amounts of bandwidth, each thread page would take forever to load.
(Not to mention that yes, it would be a bitch to code all that). No way this is going to happen here, sorry. Maybe on a music forum, but not here. lol

Siaynoq's Playthroughs
But if there was an imbuilt html .mp3 player on the homepage itself that could play the Tristram song (if selected). That would be cool
