Quote fromThe more attendees, the more computers there will be in the demo areas. If things are managed as well in 2010 as they had been this year, that shouldn't be too much of a concern.
While that is true, you then have to think about the Blizzard Employees that need to run it. Now they'll be needing to spread their employment thinner.
I'm excited, ;). I just can't wait for the "official" official announcement.Quote fromOne of these years I hope they make it to the east coast I can't believe it's almost here again, though. Only like what, half a year? It just doesn't seem very far off.

The fact of the matter is the B:North started production on Diablo 3. That is not a joke, it is what it is. I don't doubt that a lot of concepts were taken and placed into Blizzard's D3, as you can see, both games are extremely similar.

There won't be any more ad space than what is already given. The background has been there longer than the ads have been as far as i'm aware.
If you aren't going to play Diablo3, then how can you rightfully call yourself a Diablo Fan? You do realize that D3 started production in 2004 if I recall correctly, by Blizzard North?

I wasn't saying it was only Curse, I was only speaking for Curse. IncGamers has a huge TL ad as well it seems like.

Noper, as of right now, I don't have access to our Ads tools. Trying to get Curse to switch everything over to Google Apps for me so I can consolidate it all and run things from one account, ^_^. (i.e. Analytics, AdSense, etc)
I basically said the same thing, granted a lot less detailed, at the end of post#6. If you look on Curse's Website, there are big TL ads... I'm sure they're all over the Curse Network sites as well.

The only reason this is true, is because Runic Games did a site buyout on Curse. They purchased all of the advertising spots. There's nothing I can do about this really. RG purchased the for sale ad spots, that is how business works. Curse sold them the ad spot, RG bought the ad spot, the ad shows up in the spot they purchased.
If I wanted to, I could have purchased the spot and put a giant picture of the Chat Gem there. And if it really bothers you that much, purchase the ad spot yourself... so I can put a picture of the Chat Gem there, ;).

As far as the Curse Torchlight Ad goes, we have costs in running the website (and network) and they have to be paid, new sites skins and hard work don't come cheap!

What does this mean for us at DiabloFans? It means we will be gaining Curse employees in position to create new site features and other things that have been needed here for quite some time. This is great for us and our community, I feel you guys are most deserving of some new long overdue features.

I suggest bypassing the router by plugging the modem in directly to your computer. That will tell us if the source of the problem is your router or not.
Of course Diablo1 still has Battle.net, ;P.
