Very nicely done, Phrozen. I approve, =).

I'll see what I can do about a permanent place for the history on the site.

Well, Phrozen brings up a good point.. It would take away from the already dwindling activity of the forums, :X.

WELCOME!!!!!! I'm sure you'll do a fantastic job! GL With computer science, I started off my college career as computer engineering (CS + a lot of math lol), I hated programing and math so I've switched to Computer Information Systems - Network Design. My first diablo experience was Diablo in 1999 I believe. I know that D2 was out by then but I wanted to play Diablo first and then once I beat that I went out and got D2 just about a year or so before D2:LOD came out. BTW are you a Cardinals fan?

Thanks, =). And Cardinals... Er... Whoever is a Cardinals fan, I have to feel sorry for... I lived in the East Coast (NY/NJ) for most of my life, still a fan of the Yankees (then Mets), and Giants (then Jets), ;). Of course, I have to root for the ever-so-terrible Nets as well.

Then again, I started rooting for the Cardinals and Suns when they played, just because i'm an Arizonian now, haha.

I'm open for suggestions, the worst I can say is no! I don't think i'm very intimidating either~

Anyway, the only way to accomplish the "more info, less bland" stage the website is currently in, is to fix this Wiki of ours... I believe that is the key, or at least the first step in the right direction.

I was considering adding a Chat Room earlier today... However, a lot of the points previously brought up are good ones. There's no clear-cut way to moderate it, and a lot of times, it ends up with spam. What does everyone think?

Great point. I'll look into it. For now, I think i'll stick with one forum to see how much traffic it gets.

Usually I don't like to have the user disable the firewalls, it could cause there problems, and decreases security. Also, sometimes while disabled, firewalls will still block the traffic. This is why I recommend enabling and configuring any and all firewalls installed.

I would consider being apart of your staff, you seem to be an outstanding guy!
Ive been with these forums for a couple years, this is my second account because the DFans changed their layout, and I had unique characters in my last name that I now cannot spell, due to the site configurations.

I mostly just read what others have to say, and when I see something interesting I comment with enthusiasm.

Good to meet you Sixen, we of Diablo Fans welcome you!
    Congratulations on your status!
I do look forward to talkin with ya, and learnin what all you have accomplished.

    Agian, welcome and congratulations! :D
    Cheers

    -Soul

Thank you, sir! I'll keep you in mind in regards to Staff. Also, shoot me a PM with your old username, perhaps there is something I can do about it.

I like where this is going. I was telling DoranM when him and I were first talking, that I believe the home page should offer more.

In regards to Diablo 1/2 information, the Wiki would be a perfect source of information. The problem is, we need to have that information there to begin with! Phrozen, myself, and the other staff/wiki team need to go through and fix some articles... What we need to do is make it more mainstream.

    posted a message on Diablo 1 B.net issue's
If you owned the game, you are allowed to have at most 1 copy (by the EULA). Many Gaming Centers just use Alcohol120% or whatever it's called, which is just an ISO-image client. You're having port issues. You'll need to configure your router and/or any firewalls you may have. You can learn how to do so here:
Please note that disabling your firewall will not cut it.
