Something that definitely leaves me wondering...

    What is Tyreal breathing, exactly?

    Light...?

posted a message on Diablo 3 Music is Insane
It will never be D1... D1 gave me a musical orgasm at 5 years old...

But this is D3 so it can't be the same I suppose:

Isn't Overture the menu theme and was played specifically for the gameplay vid or something? Or is it maybe music that changes according to your environment?

Cathedral felt like I was watching blips of Naga swim through dark waters as I tried my best to sit there invisibly, observing the sunken city in all it's glory, more than like I was in a Cathedral. True that a Flooded Sewer would work well, with a beautifully done scary situation. But it still feels very much like an Aquarium...

Not saying it's like Warcraft with the Naga reference. It's just the first thing I thought of.

Will still be playing with music on though.

Yes. A class based around Shapeshifting without splitting the class and allowing for Gear-Eyecandy would be awesome.

I honestly can't see time as being a problem for this not being updated.

Surely it took longer to put the watermark on than it took to draw the pony -_-

Soul-Split is a Wizard Trait that creates a mirror image of them when they drop below 50% hp.

Just adding to the whole "2nd Wizard" thing.

posted a message on Gimme that, beeeatch!
Fire enchanted Uniques should drop magically enchanted items that affect something involving fire. Like a weapon with fire damage or armor with fire resist or an Ammy with +Fire Spell Dmg.

It should be something like that. Still wouldn't mind a Fallen stuck in place because it's holding a bow that it has to stick into the ground to use...

    posted a message on Design-A-Skill
    Class: Witch Doctor

    Name: Crawler of the Deep

Random Text: The Earth trembles, the sky roars, a flash of light followed by the tearing ground. A brief silence. Arachnids pour out as the creatures above cry in pain. The painted face smiles in delight, watching as millions of poison fangs fall towards him, dying but their purpose served in their short life. He gives his thanks to the slight tremors of dirt being pushed away and the ripped Earth closing once more.

Description: A beast basically non-existent to humans, the Crawler of the Deep aids the Witch Doctor in battle, calling forth lightning to crack open the ground, hatching an egg of Arachnids to feast on the flesh of his enemies, creating tremors as it burrows into the Earth.

Effect: Initial (minimal) lightning damage, 0.5 second stun. 2 second delay leads to a stream of spiders(of sort) to gnaw at enemies in the immediate area before dying soon after due to their quick birth(Causing Poison damage). Spiders pour out for 2 seconds. Cannot be used in quick succession(3 seconds after cast).

Crimson - Lightning deals fire damage and becomes AoE(Stun reduced to 0.1 seconds)

    Indigo - Doubles stun time.

Obsidian - Releases Larger Black Spiders dealing additional physical damage with poison. (Tenth total poison- eg 100psn dmg over 2 seconds = 200psn damage and 20 physical). Increases total poison over time duration(Original is 2 seconds, increases by +25%, written as percent because it's additive with other +psnduration effects)

Golden - Strikes with lightning twice initially and at the end of duration. Stun time increased by 0.15 seconds. Duration decreased by 0.75 seconds. Spell Timer decreased by 0.5 seconds. (This means it's a 0.65 second stun on 2 targets initially and after the effect with a 2.5 second cooldown)

Alabaster - Summons 1 Offspring of the Crawler. Deals 75-100% damage as physical whilst applying poison on attacks. Attacks 2 targets at once(replacement for AoE). Initial stun removed replaced by a 0.1 second stun attack(decent attack speed. May be attacked. Lasts 10 seconds. Adds 2 seconds to Spell timer(total of 5secs, only 2 summoned allowed at once).
(eg of dmg: 100psn over 2 seconds = 75-100 physical damage + poison damage applied on attack.)

The reason why physical damage is taken from poison is to allow +poison spell damage to still effect the overall damage dealt by the spell.

Reason for picking spell: Stun. Delayed AoE. Multi-Elemental Damage. MotherFing Spiders.

Ugh! It's all I could think of.

posted a message on Lord of Destruction's Influence on Diablo III
Obviously they can't take tps out because the power of monsters is the same as Diablo II which was adjusted to the fact that you could refill at any moment. /sarcasm

They will obviously adjust the monsters, health regen, ect. to adjust to the fact that you cannot refill at any moment. They cannot chase away casual players with so much difficulty that it's frustrating, not in this day and age. They will create the correct balance. I trust them......... kinda.

posted a message on The armies of Hell and the holocaust we wreak upon them daily.
In the original I enjoyed going through hell and actually killing all the monsters within diablo's chamber instead of luring him out like I usually did. It's always fun with that much mayhem, especially when your char isn't even ready to kill diablo easily yet.

In D2, hardcore multiplayer with friends was a blast. We mostly tried to make sure we were underleveled for the boss fights because it was a lot more fun if someone died during a boss fight and everyone only JUST made it through. Obviously if you die you have to get one of your hardcore chars (selected at random with a hat with numbers) and give the team your best rated item, 2 on some occasions. (Note, we didn't even have internet back then, so this was mostly ancient patches and no one had hacks because we didn't even know they existed).
