I hope the chat rooms are like D2 where you had your little avatar. Those were the good ol' days. Remember this?
I think they could do it since they have this already:

I could have sworn Jay Wilson said at Blizzcon '10 or '11 that you'd have to beat normal difficulty before starting a hardcore character. Not that it's not interesting seeing it, in-fact, in the game, just wondering.Posted in: News

You wrote it should be completed by 9pm PST --- Blue says 8pm PST. Just fyi
(all-in-all it will probably end up not being done by tonight anyway, but I don't wanna jinx it!)
Thanks, and fixed! -

- I'm not sure I understand why 5 has to be a dedicated potion button - if they'd left it to choice, that's where it would have ended up anyway.
- Removing the Mystic is probably for the best, there's already plenty of item customization systems (rare drops, sockets, etc).
- THANK GOD they're removing the need to pick up white items. It became really boring and monotonous.
- The stats change is WAY better. It's way more clear and consise. And I'm glad that Intelligence affects Wizard/WD damage. Thank you.

My colegue Molster quickly pointed this out when I first wrote this up. So I was inclined to put a question mark in the title. I figured that would clear up the intent of the short what was to be a blue quote with a twist.
Since D3 was originally slated for this year, and that Bllizzard is working really hard on getting everything in, and the nature of Blizzard Entertainment, it's not ridiculous for me to theorize the system could be scrapped.
I'd also say that Bashiok's quote wasnt perfectly clear either. What testers was he talking about? I took what I could from the quote and delivered what I think to be a reasonable conclusion.
All that, plus I'm in the middle of finals so I threw this all together very quickly. If the wording isn't perfect it's because I'm busy worrying about Computer Architecture and UNIX networking -

It's just truth. Have you read the official forums lately?!Quote from Ardikus
"As players can't be present in internal meetings or take part in the decision-making process, our job is to ensure that their voices are represented -- so naturally we complain a lot"
SERIOUSLY!?
Bashiok is a funny man!

Also, this *could possibly* be the patch they fire up the RMAH:
Official Blizzard Quote:
On the Diablo III front, we are still targeting an early 2012 launch. We've been collecting great feedback from our ongoing beta test and BlizzCon, and the team is using that feedback to continue polishing and improving the game. We've also been testing the gold auction house functionality through the Beta and are gearing up to test the real mining systems very soon.

Blizzard never announced a date. Using logic would mean that they couldn't delay something that wasn't set in the first place. So stupid.

Just curious. Since I'm only paragon 32, I have been on a magic find kick trying to maximize my drop rate at MP1.

Yes, $0.25/1M gold is the lowest battlenet will let it go. So if you're a buyer, nows the time to buy like crazy.

8. Allow NV stacks to persist after quitting the game.
7. Remove all stat caps! This includes run speed, MF, GF, etc. This game is about making crazy builds and with these caps, players simply can't have fun with it.
6. Make purple (unique) mobs worthwhile. There are 1,000 ways to make these more exciting and worthwhile. Currently they're useless.
5. Make chests matter. MF should count toward them, and they need to drop more items.
4. Make bosses much more difficult and more RANDOM. They need to drop much better loot as well. What was wrong with D2 boss runs exactly???
3. Give us perks for playing with others! 'nuff said.
2. Make Drop Rates more predictable. It's okay that it's random, but every once in a while we need to be rewarded or people who have terrible luck have a reason to keep on playing! There are many ways to accomplish this under the hood.
1. Auto-generated worlds need to be FAR more randomly generated. There are FAR too many static areas that get sooooo boring to grind. Sad to see independent developers do a much better job at this.

What ideas do you have for PvP that would replace this system?
Note: This is not a thread to argue about the news from yesterday - this thread is about solutions.
