Gergenheimer and Elendiro: Thanks for two more posts that completely, absolutely, 100% miss the point of this thread. Maybe you can create another thread to post your random "L2P noobs" stuff around? That'd be great.
@Shinna: So, wizard's answer to CC is Teleport. Sweet, because I always have Teleport in any of my specs. Unfortunately, it has 15s cooldown. And we're not talking about a pack that has 1 CC ability but overly annoying packs that come with 2-3 CC abilities.
(@Elendiro: You can't TP out of Frozen, but you can see it and TP away in time. Well, sometimes, if there's a free spot on the ground nearby.)
I guess I'm leaving this thread. Some of us were interested in a serious discussion about game mechanics that are designed a bit unfortunate, but the last couple of dozen posts really made me sad as some players felt the need to throw some "L2P" stuff in here instead of reading what this thread is all about. Sigh.
I didn't miss the point of the thread - I was speaking the truth and the truth is: claiming that a game mechanic is "wrong" or "broken" is an OPINION. Plenty of people play this game without experiencing the chronic problems you and others are describing, because we have adapted our builds/gear/play style to manage the spikes in difficulty that occur from certain combinations of monster affixes. If adapting your builds and/or play style is unacceptable to you, then play on a lower difficulty or stop playing the game - but don't ask the developers to "fix" something that not every player agrees is "broken". From what I've read on here, the people who claim that the CC mechanics are broken show no willingness to adapt to the game, but rather think the game should be changed to suit them.

I think blizzard should Introduce the PvP arenas that we saw some time ago for team deathmatch which were pretty sweet but with a twist:
4v4 teams defend an obelisk on each side of the arena that has hp and deals damage, monsters spawn from portals for both teams all over the arena (elites included).
Obelisks attack only players but can only be damaged by monsters (to prevend spawn point ganking).
The objective is to kill the enemy team so the monsters destroy their obelisk while defending your own obelisk, first team to destroy the opposing obelisk wins.
Pretty simple idea, it uses assets already in-game and no real balance required since we will be dealing alot more with monsters than with players,
the rewards could be cosmetic only or it could have a rank making it semi competitive to climb the rank.
What are your thoughts on this mode? would it be a worthy addiction or just another fail?
I know there are alot of PvP or PvPvE ideas out there but i wanted to focus on a really simple one that could be implemented reasonably fast with no new assets required with the hopes of something of the sort being included in RoS (which i highly doubt).

Have you read how transmog will work? apparently not, but i'll explain it to you again like so many others have tried in this thread:
First you need to have both items drop for you and you have to id them, which means if i see someone with a certain look i know that item has dropped for that person, so how is that "spoiled child behaviour" when it's actually harder to look for two items than to look for only one like you suggest?
Secondly your concern already happens with invisible dyes which doesn't even give you a different look, it just eliminates the visual component completely and i don't see you screaming "OMG I WANT INVISIBLE MONSTERS".
Lastly even if i find two items that are equal in power their legendary affix will be different meaning i will prefer one over the other.
All you have been saying in this thread for a while now is "OMG TRANSMOGZ FOR NOOBZ I LIKE PINK ROBES" and that's fine, just wear wtv pink stuff you like and find, but realize that a guy wearing a set transmoged into another had double the work you had to find both pieces and in my opinion it adds replayability as well as an extra reward to drops, i'll not only be hunting for stats and the affixes for the build i wanna use i'll also look for the appearances i like the most.
If you can't understand it yet you are just too butthurt to admit it...

Well tbh i hope so, if you get a compromised account it's your fault for not playing the game and trying the "free market" ^^

Heyas, I created this gem because i think it would be a really worthy addition to the game, and i don't think it would be that game breaking.
The Armor would raise just like life on hit on amethyst per gem tier
The Crit would raise 0,25% per gem tier
The All resist would raise at half the normal stats rate per gem tier
What do you guys think? worthy addition or gamebreaking?
