Where are these notes from? The source link in the blue tracker results in a 404.
It's not unheard of for Blizzard to post something and then delete it on their end. It doesn't stop the blue tracker from archiving it on our end, though.
Don't worry, I'm certain they'll re-post it sometime today.
Diablo 3 makers have made this game worse then I ever thought possible. I Bet everything that when guildwars 2 comes out people will stop playing this game cause they NERFED too much and made it SH@T. Diablo 2 was the bomb and 3 was a MAJOR let down cause they change everything for the worst not the better.
"with the nerf to ias and nether tentacles, i honestly don't think my demon hunter is going to be worth playing anymore. GG blizz, were less than two months in and you have already killed my favorite class for me."
This.
I leveled my barbarian to 60, hit a brick wall act 2 inferno; so I leveled my dh to 60 and with 80 hours less time played passed up my barb(I did a lot of warden/butcher runs in my bart so have 120ish hours played).
DH is fun, you actually kill stuff, but hopefully all these nerfs don't kill the fun of playing a dh in inferno; plus no items from destructibles/no mf bonus is dumb; as stated before Diablo is about getting items from anywhere.

While I share your concern, I think you're overreacting a lot.
Adapting to change is something to look forward to, let us Demon Hunters develop new strategies instead of using a cookie-cutter build. The whole point behind Diablo 3 was diversity in build choices... now I feel like I can free up a skill to try out other things.

Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality.
The datamined info suggests that everything will be nerfed including ilvl 60 and 61 crafted gear. The only thing not nerfed from what I know is the "Grand Exalted" stuff.

I can confirm this as well, there are reduced costs for the high end items, however, the patch notes I guess mean only level 1-59 had a reduction by 50% while the 60's are a bit of a mix

I'm tired of them nerfing everything and buffing nearly nothing. A lot of abilities aren't skipped because one is OP, but rather because a lot of the options are TERRIBLE. Nerf stuff only if you're also including buffs. Blizzard has done nothing but kick viable skills in the junk w/o providing buffs for the bad ones. It's extremely unfun. Blizzard doesn't plan on improving diversity until post-1.0.3. They've said it in the past a few times. So basically your builds are just going to get weaker until then. There's nothing to "try out". You should already know, understand, and comprehend the effectiveness of all of your skills. Being forced to pick the ones you didn't want to pick before doesn't make the game more interesting; except in the cases where some abilities were just plain stupid broken and forced you to use up a slot. Nether tentacles were not one of these cases since pretty much all other hatred abilities are horribly overcosted (compared to just using hated generators).
--
Destructible stuff should still drop items imo. If Blizzard found the effort to item drop rate was too high they could have always nerfed the drop rate. Then if someone seriously is so bad they would rather spend 5x as more time farming destructables instead of mobs, just let them...it's not like it's efficient. Perhaps this was for hardcore mode, though, since being safer is infinitely more important there, farming barrels/jars might have previously been the best way to gear up (which is boring, obviously).

They buffed drop chances, now higher ilvls will drop from lower monster, the decreased Inferno damage in Act II, III and IV, and other things.
Yes, they "nerfed" that skill (it was probably a bug), but they buffed other things. Let's not be that harsh.
Remember the class balance patch is still in the works.
I do think Nether Tentacles forced you to choose it (see all the builds using it?) that is not diversity.

the DH was stupidly OP and everyone knew it thats why it was so popular just like the paladin in D2. you could stack 100% dmg and be fine, NO class should be able to do that with ANY build, god forbid you actually THINK about things like resistances/armor/life and have to actually make strategies like EVERY other class rather then just nether spam everything and hope you never get hit. no one feels sorry for the DH's accept the DH fan club

Adapting to change may be something to look forward to but when they keep making major changes to classes forcing people to change completely its makes it hard to get a grasp on the game cause everyone spends to much time trying to learn what works and not moving forward. It gets a little tiresome repeating the same lvl cause your class Keeps getting the only thing that works NERFED. Look at the monk. The monk is a healer yet they can't heal anymore more then about 8k which is Bugger all in the stream of things. they need to rethink alot of the changes they have made.
The IAS nerf can suck my ...banana... IAS has always been a huge part of the game, attacking fast is freakin awsome and fun! 50% IAS nerf, thats.. r-e-t-a-r-d-e-d. What the hell are they doing? Hitting like a fuckin' sloth aint fun, not even with huge crits, not to mention the arcane power reg, spirit reg, hatered reg you're gonna lose. Thats damage taken into account aswell which i bet blizzard didnt think about.
We'll see if i'm quitting tomorrow because cba fixing a total new set of gear on my wiz because blizzard didnt properly test things etc despite all their so called polishing and testing.
exaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaactlyyyy. i would seriously throw a banana at their office building for this.

Edit nvm, just checked ingame.
another question, plans for fine and grand will now also drop in act1? or that is just for armor pieces

Thanks, dick heads.
If I'd want single player offline for anything, its to avoid stupid fucking changes being forced down my throat.

Losing players from the game affects Blizzard....how? It's not a subscription game. It's about making most players happy, not keeping current players.
The only change I don't like is no items from destructible objects. You can still get them from chests, but your MF isn't considered.

Losing players = less people using the RMAH = less $ for blizz
Just like,
Always online = more people using the RMAH = more $ for blizz
It's always about the $...
shouldnt all demonhunters just switch to lightning ball ?
isnt that the same skill but without the 3%life thing ?
or am i mistaken ?
