Imagine my surprise and mounting rage and horror when I found my first jeweler plan the other day, having ignored every blue drop for several months. This feeling was not helped when I found another one shortly thereafter.
Why blue? Why not yellow, like the blacksmith plans? Why not light blue, like other useful level-60 things? Why the colour of second-degree trash? How many of these million-dollar items have I ignored over the course of play? One shudders at the thought.

Oh well, onward and upward.
I`m so with you on this. They should be light blue at the least. When I`m finally running around with 375% MF I might see them, but at the moment my eyes hurt from looking for them.
I've known this since release and got several (about half) gem recipes before 1.04 but have yet to find any since 1.04. It really seems like they cut down on recipe drop rates overall and spread them out to all acts. Before I would never find 4-5 prop recipes in a3 but now I get each of them more often than I get 6 prop recipes and all of them together is less than I used to get 6 prop recipes.
And.. yes, there some things in this game that shouldnt be happening.. at all, it feels like they are not testing anything... or jus they dont pay atention to their testers, I dont know.
I don't know .. I think it is a valid complaint. Does not affect me as I pick up all blues to sell but I can understand those that do not. I really do not understand why they just did not make them yellow like the blacksmithing.
You are forgeting something, the amount of drops in D2 was WAY inferior than in D3, here, after killing some mobs, the entire screen is filled with items...
Eh, You all probably did not miss too many recipes. Seems like they are more rare than legendaries .. lol
This is the truth. After farming ACT 3 every day for over a month I still haven't seen ONE jeweler plan. But hey, according to a lot of people this is 'working as intended'. But, oh yeah, that's why I stopped playing D3 last week and bought GW2. Much more rewarding game.
Patch notes, jeweller plans are now yellow. It really did take 2 seconds^^.
On another note, through 52 Paragon levels, I've found two jeweller recipes. Before that, with what, +500 play hours? None. They're *rare* because they're permanent (using it means you never have to again on that account).

People are just reaching for things to complain about now.
this has been something people questioned since the game came out. not some new way for people to gripe.
