Well, Diablo was the first Action RPG that I played. I can say that meeting it was a great moment. Like many others I remember the butcher... and me running in the dungeon :P.
Other momemt was beating the Immortal King. I thought he was really an immortal, too many arrows, the only good thing was I had a bow of the bear that sent him back.
Diablo made me feel afraid most of the time, like the firs time I was in Hell, I didn't want to move me because I thought I was going to get killed.
I love the music, it makes you feel really the game.
Another moment that I remembered was wearing Arkaine's Valor.... Let the spirit of Arkaine protect me.
When I saw the Butcher chasing me I almost fainted! At first he was so damned hard to kill!
So my favourite moments were when I killed the Butcher and also killing Diablo and the cinematic that follows, which is tremendous!
My *least* favourite moments: fighting those sexy girls with red and blue leggings and vampire wings which shoot stars at you, I got tired of walking after them to kill the last one standing!

Yeah, my older brother had a Rogue and he was just like you, so he never pushed the switch for Diablo
it was up to me with my Warrior - if I recall his name was Danath named after Warcraft II (great game) - to kill the demon before him, and my brother had lot more levels than me, hehehehhe, big time...

What a wuss, hahaha!
I remember going around the "maze" filled with those tall Knights in order to get to the area where the switch was!

Its some time since I played. I had sorcerer and not sure if this is my favorite moment but: when those mobs started to appear that kinda didnt mind about fire or was it lightning damage at all and when I realised that I didn't have any other spell.. it kinda sucked I had to use some staff with charges
Horned Demons, I totally miss then in Diablo II...you char is walking throught the caves and then...dumdumdumdumdumdBAM *knockbak* and loses half life orb, great enemies!!
First of course was the Butcher. He was so flipping HARD to beat when you first play through the game. I thought to myself "HOLY HELL this game is gonna be HARD!" Sadly the game seemed to get easier and easier as you found gear and potions..
Second Moment was that it was the first game I ever played over the internet with others! This was such a huge jump in gaming.. I was addicted from Day 1.. even when some jerkoff snagged my first ever unique drop.. unique crown.. dang what was the name of it!
I was 16 I think when I first got the game... my first character was "Conan" LOL!!! I saw 100 other Conan's running around and thought hm.......... need a new name. Shortly after many characters and many names in Diablo.. I found out about this little game being released called Ultima Online and Have been Vergoth ever since.
My fondest memory though of Diablo 1 was when we started channel "Legit" on B.net as opposed to the "hackers" channel. We all gathered around one day and none of us cheated and we decided to start what we called Ironman Runs.
Ironman running was where you started with a group all new characters.. and played the game straight through without ever hitting town. It was probably some of the best gaming time I've ever had in a game. And yes we did Kill Diablo. It was probably one of my most satisfying moments while playing a video game to kill diablo with a group of people without every buying items only using what you find. I mean you had to get real strategies down since group didn't share experience. Blocking doorways. Letting the mage smack off the zombies in early levels to gain experience etc... it was not easy.
The Warrior did actually try to contain teh demon Diablo for he thought the same Tal Rasha did, althought Tal Rasha would've succeeded if it hadn't of been for that damned Marius. Oh yeah, the warrior shoud've thought about housing himself in a big tomb under the sand, chained up and what not. Crown could've been undead crown or royal circlet.
I do like the horned demons, lmao, my friend and I were on like, lvl 9 or 10, pwning some beasts and I hadn't beaten Diablo before, he had like 4 years beforehand, and, he just said, "OH DAMN! RUN!!" and I ran [walked] and he, for some reason, ran back, and they just charged into him and killed him LMAO, it was hilarious. He was ALWAYS dying, until he got that apocalypse spell.
We both liked the succubi very much, haha.

My most memorable was finding the HOLY SHIT RARE DROP Staff of Apocalypse, which ended up being Diablo's ultimate doom considering I also had Tp up and futt bucking. I didn't do the Dupe glitch to get it but it was awesome to have it drop. And I think the other was playing my first Ironman round I believe one of the guys who started it mentioned it earlier but thnx for created something so fucking godly. Wasted many hours of my life lol
and the first time I saw somebody hack in Battle.net. This rouge walked across the steam in town, I thought that was so badass! (I was only 12-13 at the time.)

My best moment ever with D1? Ah, that's easy. It was my FIRST moment with the game ever.
My friend had the game on his computer screen and we were hanging out in his room talking.
"What's that?" I asked.
"Oh, that's Diablo."
"Can I try it?"
"Yeah." He said.
So after a few minutes I was enjoying the game and I think my friend told me that players could kill each other online. I was amazed. A guy called me into a dungeon and when I met up with him he killed me instantly. Hacks...hmmmm. So my friend popped on some hacks and ended the guy for me. A little revenge kill for his buddy. We laughed and talked about the game. He showed me the ending and I knew I had to get the game. Still have it and was addicted to D2 for a while.
My first experience was basically Pking. Some people may hate it but the concept blew my mind back then. Scary, but fun at the same time.
i liked adria and how her gossip was in ridldes, the lovely succubuses with their most skimpy outfits and most of all when i found out that the blood star was a spell you can learn.
