Looks awesome! It's probably lined up correctly but because of the weight it looks as though the search bar is slightly to the left. You could solve this by maybe making the bar longer?
Well, they're both as centered as is technologically possible (a la CSS styling.) Now that you've said that, though, I'm going to think it, too.
Also the white text on pale yellow at the bottom is hard to read. Are you going to update this for D3? You could be getting a lot of traffic soon.
I agree. I'm thinking of scrapping that altogether. The information that they force the reader to see is kinda good for advertising different features, though. It's just a color issue that I can't think out. I don't want the background to be white, but if I go with the color of the rest of the text (non-white text), the yellowish-orange background won't go well against it (because it's not true black, it's similar in color to the background of the site.) It's tricky...Hrm...
That is invaluable advice that I'm considering.
- It was a tool tip sort of thing... it might not always appear.
Yeah. If you click "don't show this again," it will save a cookie on your computer that will prevent it from showing up until you clear your cookies or the cookie expires. If you just click the "x," it will reappear every time you search or visit the index (home) page.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Thanks man! I'm really glad you liked it. If you'd like I can hook you up with some High Res versions when I get home. Also: I think I have a fix for the centering thing.
@ Seth - The pale yellow in the tooltip could be a vibrant red/orange seen at the bottom of the main logo, the What's New box could be white with black font inside, and the main font could be white. For links I am uncertain, but black would probably look ok. The logo in the left hand corner could be white.
@ Jet - Maybe making the search bar centred just for the logotype could work? or you could centre it based on what looks right no worries if it's technically incorrect. The flames higher up should go over the bar but all the rest should sit on it IMO.

I'll tinker with it and post my results in a bit.

I think what would fix the optical illusion would be to put the flame in the font somehow.
I can use the same font with some handy new cross-browser specifications in CSS3. I'd only use it for titles, though. Everywhere would look...annoying
Fixed the pop-up, it looks much better now. Thanks guys. Working on multi-game support atm.

Multi-game support almost finished, along with some other neat surprises Remodeling the link submission page before I upload the latest build.

Holy shit, this is annoying. I had Diablo II classes stored as keywords, but that won't work structurally if I need to dynamically add games and mods. Now I have to redesign not only the submit page, but the script (validation, insertion), and every point someone searches through guides, which includes four other scripts and all of their interworking GET and POST variables, as well as passed parameters to functions and objects. *sigh*

My apologies to anyone that has used the database in the last few days and gotten strange error messages. I've had to restructure the database and then write new code, as well as adjust old code, to fit the new data structure. Everything should work much more smoothly now that we have arrived at...

A big thanks to everyone that gave feedback so far, and to everyone who has made use of the database. This is an exciting benchmark for the project because it finally includes all the features I originally planned for it, thus making it the first "complete" version.
If you encounter any odd behavior or error messages, please do not hesitate to tell me. (Note: No Diablo I guides have been added yet, so searching for guides for any of the Diablo I characters will yield no results yet.)
Alright, I changed it for search results and guide profiles. How's that?
Edit~~
Were PvM and Sorceress your only two search keywords?
Edit~~
That is quite odd. I'll look into it. I wasn't getting this yesterday... I must've changed something by accident >.>
Edit~~
Interesting... It works fine on my local build. Hrm...
Edit~~
Lol, nevermind. I bet it's because I don't have any keywords with ID's over one digit long on my smaller testing data in my local build. I probably need to change a preg_match() parameter.
Or perhaps it's this stupid loop that's firing preemptively... Hrm... Well, I've run out of time, I have to get to work. Hopefully, I'll have this fixed tonight.

I might be able to do that. What's the font you used, Jetrall?
(Also:
High res versions would be awesome, Jetrall

Ah, yes. I'll do that. Hopefully, it won't lose too much of its quality being shrunken to 15x15 pixels...

What would you think of just making it the standard orange that the links are? Maybe grey...
