Yea, for work mainly(jewelry design) and gaming and other stuff on the side. The two HD are going to be in raid, I forgot to mention that. I need all the storage for all the designs.
Back in the day they would make these rubber molds of each design so if they needed to make one again they can just inject the wax right into the mold and have a perfect copy. They still make the rubber molds now but it's not as big as it was like 15-20 years ago.
Now they just store all the designs on a HD and they can pull the design right off the computer and make the wax on a 3D prototype printer(which we are getting also,$50k). The only real reason I can see making a actual rubber mold now would be if there was a piece that was really "hot" that you would constantly need to make waxes with a pressure wax injector.
My dad has around 500 rubber molds in his office in our house. Before when he had his store he had thousands of molds. So I need as much HD space as possible. Plus I like to go overboard on stuff.
I'd really like to know what your benchmarks are too. Be sure to run that test as soon as you can and let us know.
He's going to be doing all that good stuff in the video. His videos are usually long so it should go over everything. I hope it gets a high stable OC speed.
Is there something about your job that you need so much storage on your PC or are you just some kind of hardware enthusiast?

Yeah you're just a hardware enthusiast. That's what I understood from all that.

I just checked the draws there are almost 1000 molds. They take up a shit load of space. That's what the 1.5TB is needed.
