Please learn to act maturely if not, then please don't return to this site like ever... Honestly you children hide behind the screen of a computer and act all tough saying "Go get a life" because he's posted on this forum a lot yet you are here on this forum, right now, looking at his post and giving enough of a shit to attempt to insult him. which by the way failed for your information. So please as Jamoose said "grow up kid" learn some manners and until you do please don't come around these forums anymore. All you do is troll and annoy those of us that actually want to have civilized discussions.Quote from PenumbraRt
jamoose man. i see you post a lot. first of all. get a life. this is just a game. second: how is it diff from the current system? are you serious? or are you dumb? no really... are you dumb? its up to you what items you want. like in d2 lod with the rw. its still diablo. diablo 3 is not a diablo game.
and third: i dont like the paladin in d2. why play with someone i dont like right? so it was very hard to kill the ubers. and the torch helped you a lot with +3 to all skills and all resist. ofc there is a chance to drop for the char you are playing but everyting is chance like. anyways... go have a life man.
Now to your actually points which I can no longer see, If you think Diablo 3 isn't a "Diablo" game then please get your head out of your ass and stop clouding your judgement with so much nostalgia. Diablo 2 really wasn't that balanced of a game, and D3 is strides ahead of it in terms of style, and playability. It's also closer to the original Diablo game you know the one that came before Diablo 2. -

Sorry about that. I've been meaning to bring this back for ages but time and drive really held me back until now. Unlike the iPhone series this one is a more generic broad sweep for mobile wallpapers I hope i chose the right size, I will need help from everyone to make sure i get the size just right and universal like i have the main series and wallpapers.I chose one of the larger formats i used from this wiki page. I hope i chose well. and thankfully because of that size the name plate for Soulfyre can be carried over. Ive thought about making a new mobile nameplate or just carry over the nameplates from the series the wallpapers are tied to. What do you think let me know down below Ill post this on reddit and twitter as well.
With that I will see you guys next time.
And as planned from last week I made the mobile version of my symbol if any are fans of it.

RasAlgethi24 posted a message on [PTR] Perma Meteor BuildPosted in: Wizard: The Ancient RepositoriesThanks to Vyce223 for recording the video for me. Don't mind the blurriness on the first elite kill, it clears up after that.
I posted this in another topic but made a few changes and can now cast meteor forever. The build centers around stacking Fire skills do more damage modifiers as well as Reduction cost to Meteor. With my reduction gear my Meteors only cost about 10 AP, I only run 9 apoc. I was able to time a 14 second T2 Ghom kill.
Meteor Reduction set up:
Cindercoat, 30% reduction to fire skills
Paragon points: 10% reduction to resource costs
Shoulders: 5% resource cost reduction
SOJ: -5 meteor costs
Source: -5 meteor costs
Power of the storm: -3 resource costs
The important part to take note is that Resource reduction % are taken into account multipicatively BEFORE any flat reduction. So with my setup it brings the cost of meteor from 40 initially down to 10.94 arcane power. With 9 apoc I'm able to sustain against a single target even while using explosive blast. My attack speed is at 1.67.
Damage bonus gear:
Cindercoat: +18% to fire skills
Magefist: +31% to fire skills
Bracers: +18% fire skills
Boots:+11% to Meteor damage
Sholders:+15% to Explosive Blast
Skills: Pretty flexible but I'll go over things that may need some explaining.
Meteor shower is the best fire rune. Sparkflint/Forceweapon/power of the storm are self explanatory. Explosive blast does a lot of damage with all the fire bonuses and Evocation. Astral presense helps me sustain. Slow time is my optional slot. I just use it for more damage right now as well as slowing enemy movement so they stay within the impact area.

RasAlgethi24 posted a message on So, the drop-rate are fine apparently...Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion^Yeah but you cant compare to live. On live if you have a high paragon mp10 character capable of efficiently farming, the drop rate was pretty ridiculous. When paragoning I frequently netted 6-8 legs an hour. But the catch was 99.9% of these were utter trash. In RoS if you do get a leg chances are much much higher it will be useful, due to narrow ranges, and the mystic. So the drop rate should be lowered. I do think its still a tad bit too low now but they're on the right track.

Fitsu posted a message on Diablo needs more interesting mid-tier loot.Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionThat's the problem with D3 loot imo, you've got rares with uninteresting stats which are fairly common and legendaries with awesome stuff which is insanely rare but nothing in the middle. To make a comparison in loot models lets compare a sorc going through loot in D2 and then in D3
D2:
Rare > Cheap Runeword > Spirit Shroud > Vmagi > Tal Armor > CoH. Each adding a new dimension to your character with a rare just being random stats to the runeword giving you a huge boost and then spirit shroud getting you that +1 all skills, vmagi finally some resistances and tal armor so you start building that set and getting that MF rolling before you enter the realms of the godly and put on that insane runeword you've been building. Now without any sort of cheats it still took a very long time to get to the end, but the entire journey was interesting.
D3:
Rare > Rare with 20 more int > Rare with 40 more int > Rare with 60 more int > Legendary. This is how I see it now, you're just constantly hunting for that end-game item with nothing interesting until you get there because the game lacks mid-game loot.
The end game loot needs to be rare but the more common loot that you find up until that point needs to feel like a massive upgrade in itself so that you don't get bored before you get to the end, not just "yay I got 20 more int" that doesn't feel like an upgrade, even if they are getting stronger it makes the player feel like there not improving, not finding anything because theirs nothing substantial about it, it's just boring. -

srry about the title, and thanks for not deleting the good discussion we got going here.
@rest
I think everyone makes a lot of good points both for PRO and CON.
I would literate everything I talked about while on stream today in regards to the case for PRO BOA and PRO FREE TRADE, but trying to fix my site up proper.
Here is a petition and voting I started on my site (got banned from bnet so made my own site lol)
http://mannercookie.com/vote-and-petition.html
vote has been getting attacked by some PRO BOA supporters early on because the %s were heavily skewed for free trade, but overall it shows a distinct difference in opinion in the community at an almost even level.
similar poll have been floating around with similar results.
Still early to really say that the community favors one or the other, but I think it's safe to say that the community is divided on the subject and that a solution that caters to both groups of players must be integrated into ROS to truly keep everyone happy.
LADDER(BOA) AND FREE TRADE(NO BOA)
perhaps this?

Ruluku posted a message on Free trade or riot
To your points: 1) There was free trade in Diablo 2 and its a fairly widely held belief that only a fraction of the player base used 3rd party sites like d2jsp. That's hardly "ruling" the economy. I'd like people to weigh in on whether they used jsp or not to really see if this is a valid belief. 2) Allowing free trade will not lead to the creation of 3rd party sites. There are plenty of 3rd party sites that already (and will continue to) sell gear (remember rares will continue to be tradeable) so this really isn't a valid point. 3) I don't know what this has to do with having free trade. But I am in agreement with the idea that blizz needs to get its shit together on the rollback situation, though from the lack of threads bitching about dupes lately, it appears they have made some progress in this regard. 4) This is what all of this really boils down to. The above points are really irrelevant when you look at this core aspect of the debate. So I'm going to break this up into a couple viewpoints. Lets assume that loot 2.0 is rewarding enough and we are able to find all the gear that we could want quickly enough to be satisfied. In that situation, what does open trading hurt? Anyone who wants to play the game to find the gear themselves is able to. The loot is good enough to reduce the impulse to go trade instead of actually playing the game and killing monsters. And yet there is still the ability for those who find trading (and are looking for a more social aspect to the game) to pursue that playstyle. Wow, such win win. No one is dictating to anyone else that they should be playing the game in a certain way. Everyone gets to enjoy diablo the way they want to and everyone's happy. What if there's a middle ground. We'll assume that Blizz isn't able to get this perfect and loot 2.0, while generally rewarding enough, still has some weird kinks where you just can't find that one piece of gear you really want to be able to try out your max-range siege tank style crusader (I am pulling this out of my ass). You have all the other gear, and its almost a viable build. You've found it all yourself too so you feel genuinely invested in getting this thing to work but you need one more legendary to make it really awesome. Its been 5 months, and it still won't drop. Your interest fades, you get over it, you go play a different game. You never got to see that build you wanted in action. RNG screwed you and overall the loot was still satisfying but you were kept from something you thought would be really fun. Add in trading of legendaries. You know have a way to get that piece you wanted. It takes nothing away from people who want to play the game self-found. It takes nothing away from the satisfaction you had in finding all the rest of the gear. It even allows for you to keep banging your head against the RNG wall in the hopes that what you want will eventually drop for you. Sure someone out there will have traded for all their gear, but who cares. If you really want a satisfying experience that comes from finding your own gear, what does it matter what someone else bought. Someone will always have better luck with rng than you and that wouldn't take away your satisfaction so why should someone taking a short cut. For giggles, lets include a third scenario where blizzard screws up loot again (I know, its hard to imagine, but try to stick with me). Loot 2.0 flops, its not satisfying, you find the same shitty legendaries all the time, gold acquisition is too low, crafting legendaries doesn't fill the gear needs you have and you can play for hours and hours without finding something thats even marginally good for your character. Basically, its live with some new, equally terrible sparklies. Without trade, everyone is sad and suffering. Self-found isn't viable and there's no real alternate way to progress, as thats bound by gold drop rates that just don't support your needs. Granted, from what we've seen, it shouldn't be this bad. But I wanted to include this as an illustration that again, its nottrading that prevents self-founders from playing in a way they enjoy, its the reward systems. They're updating the reward system, why does that also need to include the removal of free trade? While I hope that the new system is good enough to support playing the game as the most satisfying activity, I want to flip the tables on you and ask why, if loot 2.0 is good enough to support people playing on their own and having fun gearing up without turning to other activities, should we remove an aspect of the game that other people enjoy as a supplement? Basically why do we need to limit trading if the other aspects of the game are improved enough to decrease peoples' impulse to trade? *Edited to clean up some grammarQuote from Jamoose
Whenever i bring up the argument in people's streams, i get called a troll even though most of the times i'm totally serious and i bring up valid points such as: -Allowing free trade alongside the removal of the AH will lead to a state where websites like D2jsp rule the D3 economy scene. -Allowing free trade will again bring about a million 3rd party websites that sell gear, gold, whatever. -People will not buy whole accounts because every idiot knows that if you sell an account to someone, you can still claim it got hacked and get it back through blizz support. -If the loot 2.0 system is rewarding enough, why do we need free trade with complete random strangers? I'm not saying that it is rewarding enough, i'm saying that in essence, the idea of loot 2.0 should solve this issue and we have yet to see the latest iteration of said idea. Now, the people who are in favor of free trade, never bring up any type of argument that makes sense other than stuff like "diablo is all about trading" etc... Even this OP post lacks any type of logical reasoning. So i ask you guys who are in favor of free trading, let me know why you think the removal of it will kill the game. Take into account the new systems introduced to counter this issue (i.e loot 2.0). Edit: I listened to MannerCookie speak about the issue for a while and i think that his point of view makes sense. Too mad he didn't post it in the OP. -

The source is counciousness operating infinitely in the whole spectrum of light.
I think its time we let go our old beliefs and restrains. We can still read into the holy books that already have but always remember that they are a subject of interpretation. These books can offer us great knowledge.
Untill we wont develop a language that cannot be interpreted we will be still disagreeing about things and even some things which may look as defenite to some, might still look unreasonable to others... Interpretation.
Saying that according to current evidence that God does not exist is a tough one because you need to define what is God for you. For an example, i could believe that conciousness is simply always existing metaphysicaly. I could believe that the nature we precieve around us, is actually light that shines in specific waves and creates certain illusions for us to see, hear etc.
I could totally say that this is enough evidence for me to believe that there actually is a conciousness energy. Not a deity and not a being, but simply energy waves. And that is what could be called, Intelligent infinity.
An entity like Yahweh could only be a being operating in this field of light and precieved by us as a creator of worlds. Just because we are so tiny, its actually kind of funny. An ant could live its whole life unaware of your presence, even if you were standing right untop of her.
The field of Ufo'logy and archeology are connected to our modern understanding of the universe. Not to talk about modern physics etc. I think that only when space proggrams will run by private corporations and commitees, all of the information could be disclosed to the public. As long as our space proggrams are dare i say, militaristic, then we will only be fed with piles of bullshit.
I just think that people should be more open minded.

I dream litteraly every night. I can also explain dreams very easily, its like a 6th sense i guess.
It runs through the family, my grandmother used to dream about the future and so does my dad.
About the train sound you experience... Has it ever occured to you that it might be a bit of air coming out of your ears? Like when a person yawns, you get this "vwoosh" sound in your ears sometimes. Do you feel that the sound comes from an external source?
Traveling to other dimensions in dreams is a possibility because your mind is working in the infinity range when you dream. Many times, our dreams are the reflection of our fears and worries from our daily life, coming to us at night so we can experience them and prepare for the next day. I think that the scanner that you saw might be a projection of some of your thoughts. Have you ever thought about having invisble company while you are in bed?
Keep practicing those phenomena and attempt to identify each and every symptom. Try to "locate" the part of your brain which works whenever you feel anything that you might consider as special.
Just like you said that the best way to have a lucid dream is simply to say it before you go to sleep... So the best way of recieving an answer is actually asking yourself, without fear and without restricting yourself to express the outcome.
The dream state is a place where a connection to internal and external sources is "easier". Sources of inteligence and information. Your inner self is a source. It can be reached to and interacted with. All of the answers you seek lie within.
Good luck.
Ps. if you get any more detailed experiencs, ill be happy to try an analyze it for you. This goes out to all of the members of this forum too.

If everything is a possible reality, then it means that you are infinitely creating infinite realities inside your head using your infinite imagination. Doesnt that sound god-like?
You are god.
