The red bar between the experience bar and the skills? Besides the "resource" globe?Quote from Ryude
Does anyone know if that red bar is a gauge or just a holder for the experience bar beneath it? I was thinking maybe it was the Dodge bar, I doubt you can dodge infinitely.
I'm pretty sure that's the character's HP bar. Unless you're referring to another red bar?

I know I woulnd't have experienced nearly half of the builds I did on all of my characters if it wasn't for you. I wouldn't have geared up quickly for a new patch after taking long breaks from D3. I wouldn't have found "great deals" at bidding that made someone feel like they just found that one forgotten trading thread that everyone missed with that awesome item back in D2/D2JSP days...
You had a dark side, though. You showed people how they are not as hardcore as they think... you didn't account for a much needed item sink, so players with decent gear quickly drove things out of control by suppplying an endless stream of "above-average" items for the cheapest prices...
And your biggest flaw - you limited developers' actions when it came to rebalancing gear, changing affixes and skills, and tweaking drop rates... they were always afraid of the backlash or breaking the game's economy beyong repair... that was the worst...
Sorry buddy, you had to go... it was for the best...

The problem is creating that "queuing" system though. Because it's not just about "flat stats" to determine a player's strength. But things like a scoreboard, a "team marker" (like choose your team color), a "referee mode", a dps-meter, or things like that would've been awesome (and not so hard to implement imo).

If you're gonna post stuff related to the hardcore gamemode, please do it in the appropriate section.

From levels 61-69, it works at a 10% effectiveness. So if you hit one enemyfor 100k damage and has a 3% lifesteal, instead of recovering 3k life, you would recover 300 life currently (versus 600 life before patch 2.0, when it had 20% effectiveness).
I wonder if that will be enough for people to be incentivized to play more Brawling in RoS.

Don't think the other part of it is a problem though, I'm happy with the tradeoff needed for the item to function.

I imagine it could work particularly well with the Hexing Pants of Mr. Yan.. which I was using with a Pet/Fetish build when 2.0 hit..

For instance, the Staff/Daibo (can't remember) that gives the Tempest Rush the Tailwind rune. It's pretty good, but hardly reason enough to give up say a Thunderfury and a Jawbreaker (insane dps PLUS mobility).
Now if it gave something like "Tempest Rush has a 50% reduced Spirit Cost", or made you immune to Knockback/Vortex/Jailer, then we'd be talking seriously.

I mean, they already had a big release with D3V, and I doubt RoS will have as many players... so there's no reason for them to have huge issues and login problems after all the experience gained on D3V.
But we can only hope, really.

Also, don't bump your thread more than once/day. Thanks for your cooperation.
