If it costs money and I'm feeling particularly unlucky one night and I need a crimson rune but it rolls an alabaster so I wipe for 10g (or whatever) it becomes an alabaster again, damn, another 10g to the enchanter, damn, gold, close but still not crimson, another 10g, alabaster again, wtf? 10g again, I NEED A DAMN CRIMSON.. I know its not that common, but there are 5 runes and there is a 20% of getting what you want each 'attunement' and sometimes it can be frustrating and costly. If it doesn't cost anything to unattune then that would be great and it would probably work out in my favor.
And you might say 'well, nox you can say the same thing about drop rates, you might need a crimson but the monsters keeping dropping golds and obsidians'. and that's true but 1- they might make certain monsters have a higher chance of dropping certain rune colors so you can specifically farm those guys, if not 2- having that rune in your hand and not having it turn into that crimson is A LOT more frustrating than just not finding one, having something so close yet so far is worse than not having it at all. but like I said, if its free or really cheap it might work out better as I won't have to search for one of every color and just reattune that one rune and just hope it what I want when I want it.
But my final words are REALLY not looking forward to the unattuned runes and though I find that random stat affixes will only drive people nuts finding the 'perfect' rune.
PS on a side note just realized that if they add both new features I hope a reattuning doesn't remove both the stat affix along with the rune type, say I get a perfect affix but the wrong rune I can just reattune just hoping for the correct rune type instead of shooting for a correct affix AS WELL (like I said there is a 20% of getting a correct rune which is something manageable when playing the slots but if they have MINIMUM 5 affixes that's another 20% so its 20% for the rune type AND 20% on the rune affix so that can become a real hell, and the number of affixes are more than that making it a lot harder to 'randomly' get that exact rune type AND affix). If anyone talks on the official forum can they please ask this question for me? Thanks -

It was mentioned in the beginning that there has been a battle between angels and demons since the beginning of time yet we don't know why, so technically we don't know who is REALLY the good guys or even the right side, for all we know it is the demons and hell who has been wronged in some way. Nor do we know what the winning side (if in deed there ever will be one) plans to do after the victory. Other than throw a party over the enemies corpses. Will they take over the opposing world? Enslavement? etc?
Also I remember that Lilith was fought in D2 (I think) but from the video, clearly she seems like a good character, she even seems more beneficial to humanity than her lover (forgot the angels name, Anerius?)
Also, it says that each side tried to coerce humanity into joining their own side yet each seemed to oppress humanity in their own way, demons through brutality and angels through harsh order and such (if I heard the video correctly), so why would humanity want to join either side? Neither sound like a good choice, the whole time your looking helping out the angels but are they really in our best interests? (Also relating to my first question).
Also not really a question but I thought it's interesting that I think nephalim might have came from a hebrew word nophal (or nephal) which means to fall or fell, and in this sense would mean The Fallen, not sure if blizzard knew that, though they probably did

I don't think it is necessary for mp because it does what multiplayer does in sp mode, gives a friend to help you out. If anything I prefer to use mp anyway, usually player controlled characters are just plain better than NPCs anyway (think of the difficulty difference between PvP and PvE in any game).
And just for those times when I'm not online or not in the mood to be online (or with other people) I can still have a 'co-op' function and still help me out in the game. So technically they just made it a mp game even in sp, and if you don't want the extra help I am sure you can just not hire the follower.
Though the biggest issue is it not being useful in later difficulties, from a developing standpoint it would be wasteful on creating a whole mechanic that would be trashed soon after and from a playing standpoint just when the going gets tough and extra help would actually be useful my help just dies.... -

I am really looking forward to the beginning of may. Hopefully they will announce the beta date. And I like the approach of Blizzard to hide all interesting stuff from us before releasing the game finally.

'Splodin' Zombie: After it charges it explodes on impact.
Zombie McFatfat: Fat zombie, increases the width of the charge, charging through more enemies.
Jeronomo Zombie: Fat zombie cannonballs from above squishing a bunch of enemies under neath it (remember the 'rain of frogs' rune that the witch doctor had for the 'plague of frog' attack where they would just rain from above? Like that, but just one, really fat zombie).
Already taken, but Fire Zombie, or Ice Zombie, or Shockin' Zombie too.

Though at the moment I'm story-moding, and every so often go to challenge tower. Absolutely love this game.
When I start arcading or playing with friends (summer break should start soon = summer parties by my house) prolly main with any of the ninjas, depending on which style/attacks I'm in the mood for, I know, cliche, but the trio (scorp, Subs and Reptile) have always been my favorite and the few times I played Smoke, I loved him so I'm adding him to the list too
Btw, I'm only half way through story mode and brushed the regular 'choose your fighter' area a few times during practice or the one or two times I played arcade. Am I just blind or is Quan Chi not there (on single player, offline)? or do you have to unlock him or something?

If anything it would be class-specific armor, a 'weapon' would be something like those staves/wands with skulls on em that they used to perform they're rituals or possibly even effigies.

Ah my bad. Sorry about that. Got a little confused between the two there...
But even so, I am sure you would want more than one gem for one piece of armor, you would still be collecting more than one gem and such would make it that much harder to attain that many.
