Now this is just not fair. Talk about contradicting your own rules. When other people posted this "speculation" of a release date on the forums all those topics were blocked. Why do you have the rite to post this and we do not?
I disagree with what you are saying. I think it's a good thing they posted this - on the main page where a lot of people where see it - because too many people are seeing fake release dates and getting super excited and spreading it around thinking it's a real release date. This post is bringing to attention that a lot of these dates are indeed fake, and people need to watch out for them. Basically telling all those gullible people out there to smarten up and stop being silly.
I guess there is a difference when someone posts a thread saying OMG THIS IS THE RELEASE DATE! vs when someone posts a thread saying it's speculation. Either way, I think the comments in those threads always end up going in the same direction anyway.
As for me, I'm not believing any release date until I hear it from Blizzard. I didn't know when to expect the game originally, and when the beta started in Sept, I had a guess in my head that it would come out in March 2012, based on something that Jay Wilson had said (that the Beta will start 6 months before release). I was actually surprised when they said originally they wanted it out this year and they had to push it back. I had no idea they wanted it to come out so soon. So really, I think it'll come out sooner than I expected, which is nice for me.
Yes, but the thing is I did post a thread called exactly: "Speculation: Potential Diablo 3 Release Date".
http://www.diablofans.com/topic/31092-speculation-potential-diablo-3-release-date/page__p__695023#entry695023
But that got blocked, it had the exact same intention as this thread does and did not for one minute say that the release date was true. So as you can see, I do feel kind of betrayed by the fact that this thread was created stating that the release date was merely "speculation" and that the moderator who blocked my thread said that the rules do not permit "speculation" threads. So, I stick with my case. =)

How can it still be effective?

What the hell man. You do not attack defenseless animals. Their dogs did nothing, so they shouldn't be attacked. The people responsible should be. I wouldn't want my pets around you.

1/3 of Act 1 which is the beta (correct me if I am wrong - I hope it is only 1/4) Takes approximately 2-4 hours.
So from pure mathematical calculations:
Act 1 will take 3 x 2-4 hours = 9 - 12 hours
Seeing as consecutive acts are assumed to be shorter; Act 2 will take 8 - 10 hours
Act 3 = 6 - 8 hours
Act 4 = 4 - 6 hours
Which adds up to be around 27 - 36 hours of total game length through normal difficulty. (I really hope this is the case!!)
So if these basic calculations are correct, Diablo 3 will have a very satisfying game length. I know that I will be exploring everywhere and definitely taking my time to experience every little detail. So Diablo 3 should take me toward the longer play time hehe. =)
Anyone else like to share what they think?

I agree with what you have said. But I just need to point out that crucifixion is related to Christianity and therefore, is also inappropriate for the Diablo universe.

True. However, you have mentioned the solution (kinda). We will be able to skip as much as possible when we eventually get bored of the content. =)
Also, they will be implemented new content. I also hope they improve the older content so it gives players incentive to run through Acts 1 - 4 even more times. =)

Exactly. I would guess though that once you had your feel with around 15-20 hours of gameplay through normal difficulty and know everything their is to know. Than with new characters and what not, it shouldn't be hard to run through each difficulty in shorter amounts of time.

For me, I have been waiting soooooo long for this game, so if an entire play-through of normal difficulty, exploring everywhere there possibly is; takes less than 10 hours. Well I will be very very disappointed!
I will definitely play this game from normal difficulty all the way to inferno difficulty with every single character. However, I am a person that really likes to enjoy my games with a nice steady pace, looking at everything there is, experiencing every nook and cranny.
Diablo 2 LOD took me around a week and a half to complete normal difficulty (probably around 15 hours of gameplay), playing how I mentioned above. I really hope Diablo 3 will take me AT LEAST the same amount of time to do the same thing. I would prefer double the time though. I mean, I just want to experience this game in its entirety before starting again on Nightmare difficulty.
What is your opinion about gameplay length?

For me, if Diablo 3 took only a day to go through hell difficulty from act 1 to 4... That my friend would absolutely suck hairy monkey balls!
I want this game on normal difficulty to last me, from act 1 - 4, at LEAST one week. I've been waiting sooooo long for this game, I want it to take me more than 4-6 hours to complete even normal difficulty before I do the whole thing again on Nightmare.
I don't know about anyone else, but 10+ years on making a game, only to have the story of the game last around 4 hours would be horrible!!!
Diablo 2 took me around a week and a half to get through normal difficulty alone. I hope Diablo 3 takes significantly longer than this. =)

From this, I hypothesize that Diablo 3 will be released either late November or early December. =) For a more specific answer, I'd say: 25th November - 10th December.

I would not have a clue. Why do you ask?
So GTX 550 is better than Radeon HD 6770? How so?
PS: I know it sounds like I am questioning you in a negative way, but I'm not really, its hard to get my expressions across through typing, so don't think that I am being a dick or anything. I am being sincere. =)
