I don't think I need a new PSU - my dad says its either 600 or 800 watts.

I don't think I need a new ODD or HDD. Mine are fine. =)

    Thanks heaps anyways guys.

So now what I am wanting to get is:

Motherboard: Open Box: MSI 870A-G54 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard ($75)

    CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, 3.20GHz, Quad Core, Socket AM3, 125W TDP, 4x512KB L2 Cache, 6MB L3 Cache, Stepping C3, Boxed, Deneb (HDZ955FBGMBOX) (HDZ955FBGMBOX) ($120)

    RAM: G.Skill 8GB (2x 4GB) RipJaws Dual Channel Memory - PC3-12800 (1600MHz) DDR3 - 240-pin DIMM - Non-ECC - Unbuffered - CL 9-9-9-24-2N (F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL) ($60)

Graphics Card: GIGABYTE GV-R677D5-1GD Radeon HD 6770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card ($125)

These are what I want to get. If you guys manage to find items similar, equal or better than any of these listed above for the same price or cheaper. Or even a little more expensive if it is better, please by all means tell me! =)

OMG!!! Thank You guys for the replies. But man am I out of my league. I have no idea what any of this stuff is. I need some expert physical help with this stuff lol.

All these words are making my head hurt =(. Looks like my price range of $380 is sooo not going to cut it. So what I need is:

    Sata ODD and HDD?
    A PSU wattage thingo?
    Graphics card
    Motherboard
    RAM
    CPU

    What I have:

My case is rather large (personal build)
I have a bunch of fans as coolers.
I have no idea what my PSU is or how to find out
No idea if I even have Sata ODD or HDD - still no clue what the hell they are even with all your feed back.

So yeah... I'm screwed unless I get someone to physically help me out lol.

Thanks sooo much for all the information - I knew I was dumb about computers, but man, you guys all sound like freaking quantum physicists (which I am familiar with lol). =)

That should be good, just make sure you have like a 500 watt PSU and a case that'll fit it, and a sata ODD and a sata HDD.

Sorry, i'm an idiot when it comes to PC hardware. What is a sata ODD and a sata HDD? And how do I know if I have a 500 watt PSU.

    I know - I don't have a clue =).

Hey guys, I have just recently started to play Diablo 2: LOD again while I wait for Diablo 3. Can anyone point me to a really kick arse mod that I could play on. I have played the game so many times that while I enjoy it, I want to play the same game but with different types of things (if you know what I mean lol).

    Please and Thank You. =)

Lol, no, what's wrong with you people?

    beta comes 30th september.

I wouldn't be surprised. When Blizzard announce Q1,2,3,4 or any space of date - they basically mean the last possible day of they date!!! =)

Health Orbs aren't considered items. You cannot pick them up. You basically run into them to activate them, when activated they heal your health as well as your parties health. =)

Am I the only person who has thought of this solution:

Requires X amount of points in tier 1 to access tier 2.

    Wouldn't that solve everything?

This way people have to keep skill points in lower skills in order to acquire the higher level tiers. When they respec, they need to again apply X amount of skill points into the lower skills to access the higher ones. This solution is simple and effective. What are the disadvantages?

[EDIT] This can be done for each tier. X amount of skill points required in tier 2 to access tier 3 and so on...

Off-topic: That Path of Exile thing in your sig looks pretty cool. It's got that really gritty look to it.

Thats because it is really cool hehe. Closed beta starts tomorrow! I cannot wait!!! =)

Yes, we will most likely see some hacks. Like most games. But it won't be for a while after the release as Blizzard will be actively patching and protecting the game.
