Also WoW is WORSE than it was back in the BC days. Blizzard hasn't made anything good since their merge with Activision.
Stop trollin', yo. Other than Kara, BC was pretty crap. Ulduar was the best thing WoW ever did, ever.

-If you run away from monsters, and try to flip around to pulse-snare pursuing monsters, you take too much time swiviling around. This is also true for Disintegrate.
-It takes a full 1/2 second or so to apply the snare. That's way too long.
-In consequence, you can't sweep the beam and snare multiple enemies at once. It takes 1 second to snare two monsters, which is ridiculous.
Ray needs to be a very quick and effective snare first and foremost. The DPS is an afterthought. If it can't slow down a lot of enemies quickly, it will never be an option for most normal builds.

The problem is you need a BiS shield. You need to give people who can't find or afford a perfect Stormshield a reason to even bother looking over a rare shield. "Oh, shields work, if you get a 10% CC and 34% block Stormshield" doesn't help.

I agree, although a good way to fix it would be impossible in the middle of Vanilla (it would take a big stats overhaul like the expansion). Doctors really need help, b/c even spamming "free" skills stops regular mana regen. There needs to be more resource complexity beyond what they've shown us. It was really puzzling to give Hunters and Monks almost the same basic resource system as Barbs. There needs to be more variation.

They're dead right on the 4 player set up. Even then, they need to tune down the screen garbage. They're dead wrong on lack of game names/custom games, though. It's literally impossible to do public Wimsyshire games on anything other than Inferno. Or wander around Desolate Sands trying to get every Ancient Device roll.

The issue isn't the AH, it's the complete and utter lack of item sinks. He (okay they, but I'm pinning this on him solely based on his PvP "blog") Early on in the closed beta, your average crafting recipe had one or two fixed range stats, then a couple of random rolls. Not ALL random rolls. You know, useful crafting. Somehow, that changed. During one Blizzcon, they mentioned that soulbound gear would only be a few items at level 60. It shipped w/ ZERO bound gear whatsoever.
Everything this guy says is utter crap. He's completely short-sighted and confused as to what problems the AH caused and what was caused by his own incompetence. Yeah, look at your average public game in D2. Seems like a well run, stable economy, right? Seriously? PLAY YOUR OWN GAMES AND LOOK AT THE RESULTS. Idiot.

One thing he didn't mention that kind of worries me is nowhere does he mention bound gear. One way to get people off the AH is to make BIS gear account or character bound. The AH is great for commodities or alt gearing. There just needs to be a lot more done w/ crafting to beef up the commodities market. And there needs to be more commodities. Example; in order to craft a BIS bound pair of gloves, you need a level 63 pair of gloves, plus gems and other crafting reagents. Make random drops a more important part of the recipe than simply scraps. I still think the biggest let down I've had w/ D3 is the terrible crafting system. It has so much potential, and falls so far short.
