I personally feel that confuse with either the stun or the CDR is one of the best ways to deal with non bossses. And since bosses are easier anything at all can work for them. I don't have quite the tankyness that you do, however It looks like something I'd like to try.

    Quote from succubus_queen

I walked into my favorite gas station once, and bought 5 scratch off lottery tickets. Then someone else came in behind me and bought a ticket. We were just chatting nicely while we scratch off the stuff on our tickets and joking about never winning. Then her face just suddenly lights up and she says "I can't believe it! I won 400$!"

Then she went to the cashier, and the cashier says. "Cool! Here, let me go get your mug. We have special mugs for our lottery winners. Also, can I take your picture for the wall? We like to hang up photos of everyone who won over 100$ here." At that point he pointed at a pegboard full of wallet sized photos of smiling lottery winners holding their lucky tickets.

At that point I tripped out COMPLETELY and was all like

"I come here every #%^@ day, and fill up my &*^%ing car!!!!! I eat your *(&^ greasy &(^# chicken twice a $#@!ing week!!!! I collect your *(&^ callendars!!! I bought more tickets, and I've given you my business for years and this stupid *&^%ing little *&^%$ just comes in off the street, buys one *&^#%ing ticket and wins! And if that's not enough, you *&^$ing give her a mug instead of me!! She was already lucky enough to win the lottery, does she need a #$%^ mug too? A mug I can never have?!?! God it hurts like hell!!!! It's like...... *&^$ salt in my *&$%^ing wounds!!! I'm your biggest fan!!!!!! Why can't I have my picture on the wall!!?!?! I'll never be back here again!!"

Now everyone thinks I'm crazy. :(

I understand and often feel the same way. you should know we still love you here!

posted a message on SK Inferno stats compared to enrage timer
If you watch the Barb video (with that cool monster) he is geared up in about 48-50 gear and has a DPS of about 1500. That means that with basic 'quake he will do 3,000,000 damage and best bash will do ~2,700 damage (stacked punish) before Armor/DR. Just some perspective.

I really like the use of White tones to give the impression of
the high heavens without locking yourself into a specific location.
As an artist not informed of game events its important to do this in order to ensure your piece has longevity.

    5. So you can create your own servers like in D2?

No, you can't create your own server as far as I know. However you can indicate that you want your game to be
1: open to all players in your region
2: Open to all your friends in you region
    3: Invitation only

    Edit: too slow!

My confusion is when people say things like "What if I use the RMAH to buy my items, won't that give me an advantage?" and nobody thinks about how by lvl 30 there will be no items on the AH that are ahead of the people rushing the content. Is there something I am missing here?

wrong thread but its true ;)

Sorry, Didn't mean to derail, it was in the video which got me thinking of it. With that in mind, I feel that neither of these 2 are very likely to succeed since neither seemed aware of it. It's gonna be someone with a similar mindset, sure, but hopefully its someone even more well informed.

posted a message on Game Modes - The panacea for "Balance" in Diablo 3
I would be in supprt of different modes added over time. I especially like Hoard modes and DotA but I bet Winner takes all duels would be highly popular.

Also, reverse Diablo: you try to kill your friends hero who only have 3-4 of their skills, or try to kill generic heros. Not sure if it would be any good but might be worth a try

posted a message on Which Hero Story Is Your Fave? (reveal.diablo3.com)
I have really enjoyed all the stories. My favorit was the wizard because of the D2 tie in and the cliffhanger. Although, at first I was upset about how powerful they portrayed her to be, but then I recalled some thing about Nephalim in D3 that was said and felt better about it.

I agree that the monk, and doc. were a close second because they were so well developed. One of those likely would have been my vote if I found them in a vacuume.

I am also looking forward to how these stories tie into the game when it comes out.

posted a message on Why play hardcore?
I enjoy the challenge and the stories I get to tell my friends. In D3 the hall of the fallen or w/e its called makes it even more desireable. I will put my first HC char in there (expecting it to die at around level 35) and will strive to get killed in inferno and have those level 60 characters to show off how close I came to absolute victory.

posted a message on Your #1 reason to play every class
For those of you not sure which class to play, you could let the game decide for you! (every time you enter the Char select when making a new character, it randomly selects a class/sex)

    For me:
    Barb: none, really
DH: I like grenades, bombs and explosives. A lot.
Monk: Best resource mechanic in the game IMHO
Doc: I love mid range casters, and his spells have this feel, lot of skill diversity (not just oh another ability that does X) and mass confusion. Also, pets are fun from time to time. (favorite class; hope not OP at launch)
    Wiz: story elements I guess?
