So yea we lose a bit senseless customization like having a wizard wield a maul twice his size (in the real world it would be like putting a medic with a rocket launcher in the front line, kinda wierd huh) but on the other hand as bashiok has said they will put the effort of senseless customization and direct it towards more skills , skill rune effects, so basically adding a lot more meaningful depth to each individual class. I prefer that idea over being able to use a freakin 2 handed pillar as an archer. I hope i was clear.
I'm sorry, but you just bought his whole silly excuse which is nothing but a joke to make you think exactly that "I prefer that over this".
His excuses makes no technical sense.
I don't disagree entirely with the decisions, I mean the wizard can't use big two-handed stuff, the barbarian can't use wands.. I mean, that kind of things I couldn't care less and won't affect the game much, except those that really love to try anything.
All I'm saying is, Bashiok doesn't deserve any credit for his comment. Sweet, he's talking to the community, but his text is there for nothing. A few lines would be saying the same thing.

....nice post to bump a 3 months old topic.

I always can disable bloom and that kind of crappy effects I hate on the PC, and I often can't on the console.

If the cap is 99, I will hate Blizzard forever.
100 please, thank you.

The simple fact that you believe MF a good mechanic just proves everything. I guess that long list of screw ups is actually features and things that makes the games more fun for everyone, which is something you can't realize.
Hell, you are so selfish you wouldn't even want other people to gain more items from your MF. I'm not even going to comment more on this.

And there is also quite a few examples based on D2's systems, which is just weird. Life Leech is not making it in the game, Blizzard said (well, they didn't say its impossible, but it probably won't).
Also, duping. Duping will not be in this game. There are already online games without any form of duping, yet people assume since Diablo 2 had duping (a 9 years old game) had it, so D3 might have it!! SO WATCH OUT!!
..seriously? There won't be duping. And if there is it won't be at any level we have seen in D2. So people REALLY NEED to STOP thinking about "what effect duping could possibly have over X features".

No MF in this game.
At least not until now.
Thank you.

Right, but again, this is not an MMO, there is absolutely no need for such pointless features in that kind of game.
The only similar thing I would agree with is the possibility of groups of people doing PvP together against other groups.

Blizzard said absolutely nothing about it. So we can't say "are there going to be X feature". Unless I did miss it on this one, which is very possible.
As far as my opinion on this... its not that I don't WANT it... but how do you do it? Ultimately, your build will benefit more from X than Y, and that will stay true again and again for everything - eventually leading to the ultimate equipment.
We however, have no idea of other possible equipment customization they have in mind, or the stats that will appear on powerful items. Hopefully, there could be some variation on what is -the best- and not everyone will have exactly the same thing at the same level (assuming they can all afford anything).
This could go many ways and it depends on how they handle it. Hopefully, items will be varied enough so that one may want to prioritize different kind of items depending on what -he- personally wants.

I'm sorry but that level of ignorance astound me, yet I see it absolutely everywhere.
You can get a PC that runs Crysis well for 400$, and that was a year ago.
Stop those retarded overpirced PC thing. If thats really the only excuse you can come up with, its an horrible one. I'm sure I could run D3 on a 200$ PC, though it would be ugly.
Why the hell do anyone think Consoles are not rip off, and that PC are? Its so obvious to me that Consoles will never be worth their prices, while what you can do with a PC, for the same price, and the ability to run countless games all over, and even use your controllers if you want, and...
Whatever. I shouldn't bother.

There will never be any way that is considered fair to everyone.
Therefore its a complete waste of time to base on damage, or this, or that, or whatever you think really matters.
Everyone gets their parts. If someone is too lazy, he shouldn't be in your group.

These 2 prove that past statements oh, so, so well.

This is a joke, but at the same time, I'm not even kidding. Everyone that plays CoD games end up having the exact personality I can't tolerate.
As far as showing D3 to girls... those I know just don't seem to give a damn at all. They don't even give any opinion, they just don't care.

Is that what you believe? Well its not what -I- believe. Either way, doesn't make it fact either. You are just speculating. For your fucking information, I never said anything -I- say was fact, except "that many people are pissed about this".
And I believe they are just bullshitting us. They have other plans, great, but somehow they can't tell us about it and had to make some excuses. My guess is that they just didn't expect the community to react like that.
I don't care about their numbers or what they found it about it, because they didn't share any of it with us. They just said "LAN is bad because of piracy". Well use your head, which is the only thing we have other than their words, and think. Removal of LAN is a pointless move that will only have angered the community. That wasn't their goal, of course not, but thats still what they did.
Again, this wouldn't be a problem AT ALL if they just waited until they can actually fully explain their new battle.net and their so called "replacement to LAN" before making such a drastic announcement.
