I'm kinda shocked bashiok would come out and say Q1 when they previously said they wouldn't give anymore release date estimates until they were set in stone.

    They are aiming for Q1.

For god's sakes. We already knew this, we knew it very well, plain as day, as obvious as the sun, that they were aiming for Q1. Now they just say it again. Thats it. Thats all. Move on, guys.

The instructions could've been clearer and OH GOD THE CLICKING! THE ENDLESS CLICKING! THIS AINT SC2 MAN! HOLD THE MOUSE BUTTON OH GOD NO IT'S ON FIRE!
No kidding I was going crazy seeing him click. I mean dude, your finger will be completely broken by the age of 30. Tone it down for your own sake, jesus.

As for the video, well, it would have been nice to mention you need someone to do it before you're 6 minutes in it.

In any case, this should be easily fixed.

Nothing. We keep what little money the entire family have to give to the little kids so that they can live in the Christmas spirit. If we didn't want that, we wouldn't spend our money for that either, because we actually need it.

Thanks for continuing the trend of worsening the website every time, which every websites in history seems to be following. I guess with the community going to hell, the design change is fitting.

Has the bad TQ vibe. Yawning sound effects, nothing interesting to look at in combat, no animation or death effect that or just hits that feel remotely rewarding, etc... Sigh... Can't get basics right...

posted a message on New U.S. Act Against Piracy, Government Power to Shut Down Websites
    Quote from Umpa

I'm aware of the issues with the bill. However, something will eventually be done. There is massive amount of pirating taking place that is instilling the government to take action. Maybe the pirating is just the pretty cover they want to put on it and hide all of their dirty secrets inside. But at the end, the pirating of all of this intellectual property is an issue that does need to be addressed. Hopefully when it finally is, more good will be done than bad.
You know, thats always an interesting subject. Because if there was a way to stop piracy without affecting rights, scaring people, removing freedom or destroying the internet as we know it, it would have been done by now. Killing piracy would require extensive amount of control. Its as crazy as trying to stop all the drug dealers by controlling every corner of every city. The only way you can stop it (that I can see) is by having full control over everything.

Its a noble intention to try and stop piracy, but I have not seen a single suggestion against piracy, from governments or from individual companies, that didn't hurt something, and the more it would hinder them, the worse it is for the people.

Thats why I believe in adapting instead of trying to kill it. The industry has changed yet plenty are still extremely successful on all levels. Why can't we just learn to adapt to this instead of trying to control everything? Because that will NOT end well.

a company wanting less people to steal the product they made = they're greedy bastards? trolololololololol
Oh come on. It would be so nice and perfect if everything they proposed only affected piracy, but it affects FAR, FAR, FAR more than just that.

    Quote from Umpa

    Ya, it's that simple.

    Not.

People are stealing music. Period. The artists need to be compensated. Their work should not be stolen.
Are you just stating this because you think he's saying their work should be stolen (which he didn't say, he didn't even hint at all that piracy was right or fine), and/or are you actually trying to justify the actions they take to help these people, on the basis that these people should not have their work stolen?

Not sure here. I don't see why twice in a row, people take LinkX's post and try to defend the people negatively affected by piracy, like it had anything to do with what he said.

so stealing is legal where you live hm?
Uh, the definition of stealing is what is completely different from places to places. There are places where laws allow you to download music for free and do not consider it a crime, for example.

Never adapt, just control and profit. That is the US. Bunch of dicks.

Yeah yeah they want to control the internet. Nothing beyond that. No shit or piracy talk matters. They just want to control everything. Nothing beyond that. Their justifications are excuses to make it happen, to control the mighty internet and make more money.

The world is always already adapting, except those morons that just keep on controlling what is happening. World can evolve but they wouldn't give a fuck if their pockets aren't involved.

Are you guys really discussing nerfing a system on a single player game? >_>
Seriously. Anyone played BG2? The fact that its horribly broken is what made it fun. So many overpowered ways to play, and there's always harder ways to play, too. Play how you want, so many possibilities... thats the fun...

    What's the max level?
The cap is 81. The soft cap is 50. Once you reach 50, it becomes much slower to level up (apparently). You can get to 81 by getting -all- your skills to 100. This was tested on the PC version with cheats. That means you can ultimately get 80 perks. But that probably requires a lot of extra work...

Had to throw my 2 cents in here and say I actually find this game fun. Its funny how a lot of people in some forums are whining about how dumbed down it is, and how many (completely fucking useless) mechanics and things have been lost.

You know what, they actually got the basics right this time. Its actually fun, the world (so far) feels more alive and vibrant, and actually fun to explore. I actually like to talk to people. I actually like to do stuff.

Damn. God forbid they actually stop putting in so much useless crap and focus a bit to make the experience -actually- enjoyable. No, really, Skyrim is doing a good job of mixing up freedom and enjoyable. Because both are almost opposites, as far as I've witnessed in so many games.

So yeah. If you didn't know, I disliked every Elder Scrolls game so far as bland, boring, soulless games. Its the first game I'm actually happy with. Combat is actually fun too, not perfect, but still. For the FIRST TIME, an Elder Scroll game with fun combat. Damn.
