So yea we lose a bit senseless customization like having a wizard wield a maul twice his size (in the real world it would be like putting a medic with a rocket launcher in the front line, kinda wierd huh) but on the other hand as bashiok has said they will put the effort of senseless customization and direct it towards more skills , skill rune effects, so basically adding a lot more meaningful depth to each individual class. I prefer that idea over being able to use a freakin 2 handed pillar as an archer. I hope i was clear.
I'm sorry, but you just bought his whole silly excuse which is nothing but a joke to make you think exactly that "I prefer that over this".
His excuses makes no technical sense.
I don't disagree entirely with the decisions, I mean the wizard can't use big two-handed stuff, the barbarian can't use wands.. I mean, that kind of things I couldn't care less and won't affect the game much, except those that really love to try anything.
All I'm saying is, Bashiok doesn't deserve any credit for his comment. Sweet, he's talking to the community, but his text is there for nothing. A few lines would be saying the same thing.

They are aiming for Q1.
For god's sakes. We already knew this, we knew it very well, plain as day, as obvious as the sun, that they were aiming for Q1. Now they just say it again. Thats it. Thats all. Move on, guys.

As for the video, well, it would have been nice to mention you need someone to do it before you're 6 minutes in it.
In any case, this should be easily fixed.

Its a noble intention to try and stop piracy, but I have not seen a single suggestion against piracy, from governments or from individual companies, that didn't hurt something, and the more it would hinder them, the worse it is for the people.
Thats why I believe in adapting instead of trying to kill it. The industry has changed yet plenty are still extremely successful on all levels. Why can't we just learn to adapt to this instead of trying to control everything? Because that will NOT end well.

Are you just stating this because you think he's saying their work should be stolen (which he didn't say, he didn't even hint at all that piracy was right or fine), and/or are you actually trying to justify the actions they take to help these people, on the basis that these people should not have their work stolen?
Not sure here. I don't see why twice in a row, people take LinkX's post and try to defend the people negatively affected by piracy, like it had anything to do with what he said.

Yeah yeah they want to control the internet. Nothing beyond that. No shit or piracy talk matters. They just want to control everything. Nothing beyond that. Their justifications are excuses to make it happen, to control the mighty internet and make more money.
The world is always already adapting, except those morons that just keep on controlling what is happening. World can evolve but they wouldn't give a fuck if their pockets aren't involved.

You know what, they actually got the basics right this time. Its actually fun, the world (so far) feels more alive and vibrant, and actually fun to explore. I actually like to talk to people. I actually like to do stuff.
Damn. God forbid they actually stop putting in so much useless crap and focus a bit to make the experience -actually- enjoyable. No, really, Skyrim is doing a good job of mixing up freedom and enjoyable. Because both are almost opposites, as far as I've witnessed in so many games.
So yeah. If you didn't know, I disliked every Elder Scrolls game so far as bland, boring, soulless games. Its the first game I'm actually happy with. Combat is actually fun too, not perfect, but still. For the FIRST TIME, an Elder Scroll game with fun combat. Damn.
