Depends on luck. I've found 2. In that same time, I've found three TnT, 2 Furnace, 1 SMK. Anecdotal is anecdotal, but...Quote from oldschool_2o4fIs this dagger hard to get or a relatively common drop? It's the fina piece on a build I'm wanting to try.

Now, as it is, my clan helps to equip new players in a week. If u want a kridershot, lets farm it in group, not just to buy it!Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion -

Kamui_1337 posted a message on Bring back trading - Clan trading only - Diablo is missing certain social dynamics within the gameNope, bagstone has is right on the money. Inviting trading, invites problems. Remember the RMAH. In fact that was a game on its own within d3. I even understand why they will NEVER implement clan trade. The reason being is that ANYONE can join a clan and anyone can leave. So ultimately if it were ever implemented there will be a total of 6 main clans representing each class. You just need a group of people within each clan to farm. This also invites Chinese farms, d2jsp, etc back. This will exponentially destroy the current life of the game. In d3v you could buy your way to the top. AH is the reason why the player base cut in half. If you want trading play the console versionPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion -

I like to think I'm pretty open minded when it comes to discussions. My point on entitlement was more directed at the notion as though someone has earned the right to have the developers listen to them just because they purchased a game, or because they have spent so much time in a game. That in itself is extremely closed minded and an issue a lot of people have when it comes to Blizzard because frankly, we're pretty spoiled when it comes to their development of games after release. Just because Blizzard practices this doesn't mean we've earned it, nor does it me we're entitled to it.Quote from oldschool_2o4f»I just said that.
The fact that you paid for something does make you the customer, but you're limited at best to returning the product and trying to get your money back. This isn't a service where the "business" is apt to try and make the customer happy like a waiter, car salesman, or even your local congressman ( good luck with that one).
If the product worked as intended at purchase, thank you, have a nice day. Now, we have all heard seen instances where this wasn't true and mostly things get corrected, but, point of sale, have a nice day otherwise.
It's up to the company to solicit feedback, or provide an avenue for feedback submittal, or even so far as to hire someone to monitor social media now and keep an eye on feedback. But it's their decision to listen, their decision to be smart or not as to what the customer wants, and there are times when what the customer wants, due to unseen contraints isn't possible, or even a good idea. Is it their obligation to explain this? Debatable at best.
Even so ,I've seen attempts at explanations and blatant disregard for the attempt to the effect of why ever would they try to do so again?
I'm rambling. Easiest statement is simply there are minimally two sides to almost anything and if you can only see one, it isn't a very promising conversation. -

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wanted to clarify... On PC, this ONLY applies to Legendary Gems. For example, if you already have one Maximus, you can absolutely find another.Quote from PaulyJ
does that apply to console as well? about legs not dropping if you have items in inventory, etc? -

Firecrest posted a message on Ubers: Organ Droprate DoubledPosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Organ droprates were roughly doubled some time ago (hence the title and whole point of this thread). T6 is 100% and it slowly goes down from there. I don't know exactly what T5 would be (because as ruksak said why the hell would anyone do T5?) but I would assume somewhere in the 80-90% range.Quote from Failwing

The Key Wardens drop keys...
The Ubers drop organs.
http://www.diablofans.com/forums/diablo-iii-general-forums/diablo-iii-general-discussion/82430-ros-faq-reaper-of-souls-frequently-asked#c120 (Question# 25)
On T6 the key chance is somewhere arounf 50%(?)
Torment I: 25%Torment II: 28%Torment III: 33%Torment IV: 38%Torment V: 43%Torment VI: 50% The Ubers at T6 drop organs at 100% now I think?
Organs must be higher than that, or?
I multibox 4 accounts and had organs dropping 14 out of 15 times on T5. Cant be just pure luck if droprate is 50%?
Or does it work like this, (since all get organs).
Or does every account roll once each when doing ubers? 50%x4 chance to drop for all?
Keys and organ drops are per party. So, if T5 is an 85% droprate, the entire party has an 85% chance that everyone gets one and a 15% chance that no one will get one.
It kind of blows my mind that people still struggle with this. It's crazy easy old news. Totally mind boggling that people can have hundreds of paragon levels or the wherewithal to set up a 4x multibox twitch team but are too dumb to figure out Hellfire rings. -

GwendolynneHelix posted a message on Please fix leg GemsGet more Leg gems and level them up? I never take a gem out of a piece of gear that I am using already. Leveling up a new gem is almost effortless since I am doing Grifts anyway. That's like saying they should change how gear itself works because you want to share gear with your characters. That's a YOU problem not a game problem. If I want more than one set of the same thing I go and get it.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion -

The odds of 20 gambles with a 10% win-rate giving you absolutely nothing is about 12%... the RNG sorting hat put you in the bottom one eighth. The good news is, the odds of your next 20 gambles giving you absolutely nothing is only about 12%Quote from KofferlaciI've spent ~1500 shards for 2H weapon and none of them was legendary! fck ths sht -

Richter82 posted a message on Enforcer gem for hydraOk so after reading this topic , i set out to test this myself. Here's the test procedure that i used :Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
I timed how long it took to go through Belial's last phase on T6 (a stationary target , perfect for Mammoth hydra) , using only 2 Mammoth hydra to attack , while i was running around avoiding his attacks and refreshing hydras when needed. I used a rank 3 enforcer gem (15,9% dmg to pets)
Here's the results :
w enforcer :
Run 1 : 1:33.65
Run 2 : 1:31.44
Run 3 : 1:33.62
w/o enforcer
Run 1 : 1:45.69
Run 2 : 1:43.40
Run 3 : 1.47.51
So yes , Enforcer does work with hydra. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Also, and I openly admit i've skipped ALOT of the preceding 2 pages, it seems like there's a faction that's essentially saying more choices is bad? I mean, one of those choices is don't use the dang things.
I sincerely hope they do add some interesting things that CHANGE the mechanics of some stuff. I liek that they get stronger as you go, I also hope with everything in me, they don't get stronger just sitting in your stash. Also hope the improvement is steady and predictable, otherwise when you level up that gem that was doing great things for you is now unrecognizable and doesn't fit your build anymore ( highly unlikely BUT...).
Also, have they come out and said that they aren't adding a slot for the socket? I mean, probably won't but maybe they will, and all that choice/decision/sacrifice/hand wringing will be wasted....
Wouldn't it be cool if all the jewelry out there gained a socket and lost nothing.( cept what about all the stuff already WITH a socket).
What if Legendary Gems didn't require a socket at all, they just simply are added to the jewelry? You know, a little pixelated glue here and done).
My biggest thing is it's all a big WHAT IF at this point. Why so worked up over essentially pixelated nothingness right now?
Fear of the unknown? Fear of change? Both very viable forces in humanity. Both quite negative and stressful I might add.
Relax, it'll all work out, it'll all become clear, and if it stinks it all up, they can patch it. It's a game. Have fun.

So yes, I guess you might see it that way.
I see complaining about something not even received yet that is still unknown at this point in time.

But also realize sometimes that last three points on CHD ISN'T that important, 97% is pretty good.
I guess the ugly word in the room is BUDGET. I will walk up to the enchanter, look at the piece, yeah it's better than what I have, but it's NOT the FINAL piece." I'm gona roll for it 5 times". If it doesn't happen, I walk away. At the very least, I put it away and try again later, and SOMETIMES I get better before I get to reroll later anyway.
People, be responsible with your imaginary pixel type currency/materials...:P
That is all.
Oh and jeez, pick up your stuff, no one's gonna do it for you.
Okay, that is all.
Really.
No, really.

Sad commentary ON the issue is, it's easier NOT to use it. I know that doesn't fix it but it speaks to the problem, and the lack of hope that the problem will be corrected, and even further, the options volunteered here ( always appreciated) speak as well to the complexity of trying to please everyone and cover all possible wants/needs while addressing the ever present "trolls" which are usually only an issue in the aforementioned "public" games.
While it doesn't fix the system, if you don't use it, it doesn't much matter, and many have done simply that, it's just easier.
