How does D3 handle crossfire? any micro-stuttering or any big flaws in it?

Smooth as can be for me. Haven't noticed any stuttering at all or any real big flaws. Just a couple odd things when tabbing in and out that usually fix themselves in a couple seconds, but most games do that with crossfire. With everything cranked up in CCC, MSI Afterburner showed their usage at about 70%.

hrmm.. A lot of people say Xfrie and SLI have so many problems so I'm reluctant to double up on 6950's and instead pawn it and get a 680 Still not sure which I'm getting.

They can be a pain in the ass depending on the game. I haven't haven't really had any problem except when it comes to updating my drivers at which point, I have to open up my case and physically remove the xfire cable otherwise my driver installation will crash. That and the issues that happen to from tabbing in and out occasionally. Like I said usually fixed within a few seconds, but other times I have to restart. Not the biggest deal ever.
For the ASUS monitor aficionados - thoughts on the VS248H-P? Runs around $185 - was hoping to spend under $200 for a 23"+ LED backlit LCD w/ 2ms response time.
Well I don't think you should have to pay more than 150 actually for a nice 23'' led backlit. The Acer one that I bought was about 150 and I love this monitor. If that one you're looking at is actually 24'' though then that would probably justify a 185 price tag.

I looked at an Acer at BB - on sale for $160 - what model do you have?

"The Unchosen" Pain of Admirance Sigil (For those without -Feat of Strength-):
Newegg, a few months back! Came with a MIR, I'm a full time prowler for low prices, and deals. I will wait until the end of time for a product to dip into a certain price range before I think about purchasing it. It's quite an ordeal for me to click that order button.
It's the principle.

Cool! I'll keep a watch out for it then. That's a great price.
yep, its more powerful than my laptop which runs great, all laptops should use low setting to avoid overheating and damage.
Is ^^this true? I'm looking to buy a laptop before the game releases but I would like to play at better than low settings. I've also posted some specs on my desktop, although I can't remember them all, I built the thing 4 years ago. It's a little dated but runs SC2 on high just fine.
That laptop's got really nice specs, but for that much money I'd rather just get a super slim general multimedia laptop like a Zenbook or Macbook Air. But yeah, I know some around here are looking for a gaming laptop and that one is definitely nice.
Wait...so you're saying that I should run games on low settings? not on high?
Otherwise specs on my wee little tyke rig
